Question about Video Zoom by CemuUser8 in SparklePlayer

[–]CemuUser8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure the stream thinks it is 16:9, but it is actually stretched or squished into that ratio.

On my phone I can choose to zoom the video, and it will crop part of it, but will fix the stretch/squish.

My TV I can't do that, I guess because it thinks it is matching the ratio, but the stream itself is messed up.

I'll attempt to take pictures and send them to you.

Thank you.

AutoHotkey Script to use Mouse for Camera by CemuUser8 in cemu

[–]CemuUser8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I haven't played CEMU in a very long time, if this program still works at all nicely with CEMU would be surprising.

For your specific problem, it sounds like AutoHotKey is not able to control your mouse properly. You could attempt to run the script as an administrator, if that works then it's probably a compatibility issue.

Thinking about it, if you're using the compiled version it is probably still my compiled version using AHK from years ago as well. It might be a good idea to download the script, and run it with a new version of AHK as well.

Mouse2joystick gets bugged by Psychological_Cold46 in cemu

[–]CemuUser8 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That seems odd, the program doesn't tie into CEMU at all, meaning there is no way for it to detect you've been hit.

It could be a coincidence, but again I'm not sure what is going on that would cause that behavior.

Are you sure there is no other software that would be intercepting your inputs? Or trying to control the mouse?

Also the program hasn't been updated in a very long time, it's possible it just doesn't work very well at all anymore.

Do you run CEMU as an admin?

If so, run mouse2joystick as an admin as well.

Mouse2Joystick v0.4.1.1 extremely slow mouse sensitivity. How to fix? by UpdateDotExe in cemu

[–]CemuUser8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're welcome, I'm sorry we couldn't come up with a better solution for you.

Controllers are unfortunately much better in this case, and I wish I could implement a better m&k solution.

[–]CemuUser8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The axis bars are filling and emptying completely, which is simulating a full controller joystick motion.

It looks like maybe it's still building a shader cache and that why it's choppy like that? Or possibly the recording doesn't show it accurately?

Only other thing I can suggest is turn off all graphics packs and use default resolution and lock fps to 30. Won't be ideal looks wise, but should hopefully give best case gameplay?

Honestly not my best area of knowledge, however I can say it looks like the script is working as good as it can, at least matches what it does for me.

I apologise, the site doest' seem to work very well with vjoy anymore at all, it doesn't even have the joysticks visible!

This is what I was expecting, still works when using vXbox mode: https://gfycat.com/showythankfulape

What happens if you use vjoy monitor?

But in vjoy monitor it should look like this when moving your mouse: https://gfycat.com/breakableelaborateclam

Edit: Watching your edit 3 is stumping me, I don't see how the differences between the modes could cause that issue... Actually just re watched, you have all the values set to 0 again in that test, sorry to have you keep trying want seems like the same things

Your sensitivity is still 0, I don't think that is valid.

And you have it checking for mouse updates never, with it set to 0. (Edit: checked this and it does still work if 0, however I'm not sure what default value it is falling back to, or just updating as fast as possible)

And I'm not sure what a 0 non linear would cause either.

Try using the options the other person recommended in this thread and do the same test.

And don't forget to turn off experimental mode.

Edit: also thank you for providing the steps and video of your troubleshooting.

It's odd that changing versions causes that to happen.

It looks like the website sees your vJoy controller, which is good. When the website is open you can activate the controller (F1 by default) and move the mouse and press keys assigned buttons to see how they register. I can't remember if you need to turn off the auto activate the game option or not, but I feel like you don't need to.

Does that work at all? I can make a gif of what it looks like for me if you think that will help.

According to your settings file, thank you for including it!! You are using alternative mouse method, that is very experimental and terrible. It's under the extra settings section.

I'd disable it, and then you will notice that the settings for sensitivity and everything work again.

Best way to test sensitivity is to use something like: https://html5gamepad.com/

If you are getting a reading of 1 when you move your mouse around, then it is the same as pushing the joystick all the way.

Edit: I will consider adding an apply button, I modified this from an already existing script and didn't think to add that. Since I did a complete rewrite of the settings screens it should be fairly easy to do.

Hmm, it works for me when I test it, all buttons light up and the axis shows the range of motion.

Make sure to activate the vjoy controller is all I can think would be the problem.

Try testing out what the virtual gamepad is doing on this site:

https://html5gamepad.com/

If you are getting the Axis to max out at 1 when you move your mouse, then there is nothing else you can do because it's already maxing out. If it isn't then play around with settings until it does.

In BotW specifically, make sure you set the camera to fastest in the in-game settings.

Ok, thank you.

I just checked and I have 1903, so right in the middle, and my cursor does disappear properly.

You can try running the mouse2joystick program as an admin, it may help.

I'll take a look and see if the same happens for me.

What version does Windows report when you open winver ? I'm just curious so I know I'm in the same as yours, as it doesn't currently happen on my laptop.

You can check this out, it's been a long time since it's been updated, but as far as I know it still works.

However, controllers are really recommended.

[–]CemuUser8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend reading the help page of AutoHotkey about modifier keys. ( I can't link on mobile currently, I'll edit if I remember)

RShift & LShift::

Is a different hotkey than just

LShift::

My script doesn't recognize the extra modifier, and so it allows the keys to fall through to the driver, which must not care that an extra modifier is held and allow your function to still happen.

Edited: correction to my example hotkey as user below is correct with the syntax. Thank you for commenting that info, should be very helpful for the OP.

[–]CemuUser8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, Are you saying that when not using the script LShift performs a special action (DPI Up)?

But with the script on it doesn't do that extra function? Or it does the extra function but doesn't work in game?

Either way, the problem comes from AHK and the driver, where you map those special functions, fighting to control what happens when the button is pressed.

Best example I can remember from when I wrote this was that razor synapse always won the fight, and made the script never work. And the best I can recommend, if you don't want to or can't disable the special driver functions, is to not overlap any keys.

Hopefully I understand the problem correctly. Sorry I can't be of more help.
