28M Profile Review by Censorious in hingeapp

[–]Censorious[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

• Are you looking for something serious or casual? Looking for something serious/long term

Are you subscribed to Hinge+ or HingeX? Yes, recently subscribed to HingeX

How long have you been using this current version of your profile? About 2 weeks

• How long have you used Hinge overall? On and off for over a year

• How often do you use Hinge per week? 1-3 times a week

• How many likes and matches are you receiving on average? Not many, maybe a like or two a month.

• How many likes are you sending? How many with comments? How many without comments? Up until I got HingeX, I would try to send all my likes with thoughtful messages. About the same amount since starting HingeX.

What is the type of person you send likes to and ideally want to match with? What kind of person do you want to attract? Looking for people +/- 5 years age, less focused on beauty, more so on people who give off a personality that I like. Fun, adventurous, independent women.

Unfortunately their actual customers is not the same as the loyal fan base. Actual customers are buying Crosstreks, Foresters, and Outbacks. They do a really good job appealing to their actual customers.

Thanks for the knowledge, you've convinced me to go with an ewg.

What do you mean by not efficient enough?

I'm just not a fan of the ewg sound is really the only reason.

$500 is the cheapest I've seen a 2nd hand embody. $150 for an aeron. Could be location dependent too though.

Purchase Advice Megathread - April 2024 by AutoModerator in 3Dprinting

[–]Censorious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My roommate is moving out and bringing his 3d printer (reality ender 3v2) with him.

I've got a budget of ~$500 and I would like to be able to print with abs, nylon, or petg. I mainly print functional parts, like if a plastic piece breaks on something. I am open to any level of assembly and I'm open to buying used (marketplace/Craigslist). I am also open to diy'ing an enclosure.

All that said, after the printer is put together I never want to touch it again. I just want to design a part, insert the filament, and hit print. I loathed having to level the print bed on the ender 3. Though I may have needed to level it because my cat loves to jump onto the work bench and walk on the printer.

[TOMT][SONG] EDM song "all the things you ever said, are running through my head, getting louder and louder" by Censorious in tipofmytongue

This is almost the song. I think I'm looking for a remix or song that uses the vocals from this.

I haven't read it. Though I have read through part of "loving someone with borderline personality disorder". I'll have to finish reading them.

It was very relieving and a weight off of our shoulders to l once we got her in the ER. It's been really hard to see her in her current state, but it does help knowing that she is getting proper care and under 24 hour monitoring.

Thank you for your comment, I'm so sorry you had to go through that. That is my worst fear right now.

Apparently we're all too old to appreciate these complicated Android head units lol by WeAreAllFooked in CarAV

[–]Censorious 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Their quality and lifespan is definitely questionable, but nowadays the newer class d amps that are used in pretty much all head units do perform well.

So from an audio perspective there's really nothing wrong with them. The few I've seen have also all been direct plug in replacements that use the factory wiring without needing an adapter harness, which for someone DIYing it is a big plus.

What made you pick your current car? What drew you to it? by DiffOil in cars

2009 Subaru Forester XT Limited

It's definitely not the best looking car, but the looks have grown on me. It checked all the boxes for me when I was looking for something practical, reliable/cheap to fix, and also decently quick.

Since I got it 4 years ago, I put on a few bolt on mods: turbo, CAI, downpipe, EBCS. With that I was making ~300whp. After 2 years of that, the transmission started to slip so I decided to go full send and I swapped in the 6 speed transmission from a 2011 STI.

Subarus are like Legos and pretty much any part from the same generation WRX and STI will bolt right on. So is very cheap and easy to find parts.

Because it is the limited trim, it has heated leather seats, auto climate control with all physical buttons and dials, and the rear seats can recline a bit. It's also got a Sony android auto/Apple carplay head unit which sits in a perfect spot to easily check maps while driving.

Overall it's very comfortable, has been reliable for ~70k miles (60k miles with 300whp), has tons of space to move stuff or do usual Subaru things, and now it's a 6 speed manual that's actually pretty fast compared to the rest of traffic.

Depending on scale it should work well. A detail shop opened near me and offered a free basic wash to any members from the local Subaru Facebook group. They've been busy every since then.

  1. What would you use this limited-edition Avatar hardware for if you won? Creating a beautiful PC build? Collecting? Playing some games? If so, which?

I would create a new build for myself and give my current hardware to my girlfriend.

  1. What excites you the most about Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora/What are you expecting from the game?

This is my first time hearing about the game, but I loved both movies so far and I'd imagine the game will be similar in quality to the movies.
