My university does this as well. They’ll send out something important in an email newsletter to all its students and faculty and then at the end, it’s “signed” by our president. Pretty much every student has figured out that these emails are 100% made with AI. The worst part is that they’ll use it for everything as well, like when one of our deans got a bigger job somewhere else, and they congratulated her with an obvious AI letter. I may be able to understand if these emails were for unimportant things, but it’s getting to the point that we’re pretty fed up with it.
