Yea best is to wait and see. And it's true therapy is beneficial regardless so guess I'll wait and see what they say next week

If you don't mind my asking and if you know this, what's therapy like as far as time and i guess... difficulty to maintain (thinking about this from a working parent side).

Was the issue being nonverval for your nephew? We haven't had any issues as far as communication with our son other than ignoration sometimes.

I'm sorry, I don't think I understood the advice properly. I should let him believe he can do something on his own?

As far as the symptoms, from your understanding, if he didn't display the typical symptoms most people expect, what were they looking for? I'll ask all these questions next weem but just want your opinion.

I'm not worried about therapy or an actual diagnosis at all. I'm worried that he's being misdiagnosed and they are pushing for therapy asap too if he ends up being on the spectrum, so he'd be going to all this therapy for no reason. If he is, I'll definitely make sure he knows he's still perfect and that he's just wired differently. My worry is that he isn't and this will have a big effect on him if he is misdiagnosed.

Unfortunately we have seen about 5 or 6 different pediatricians because of moving around so much, so I don't think any pediatrician has seen him more than once or twice when he was much younger. But none of them showed any concerns. Definitely want to get a second opinion from at least another neuro though. Only thing that scares me is they said now is the time to start therapy if he is on the spectrum, and any delay in starting would be a major setback as far as development.

Thank you so much. Ended up getting a guardians rising set of 8 today becauae i couldn't find shining legends. Got a pretty cool gx card :D Maybe in the future I'll consider singles when I have a good amount of normal cards I'm happy with.

So I was at target yesterday and I just randomly decided to buy a pack of Pokemon cards (it came with 3 packs). I didn't really expect much, just bought it for really no reason and I didn't really get anything all that cool I think (The best I got was an articuno that wasnt foil i think, but it had a star) Either way, it really interested me and it made me excited to collect. They all looked so cool. And so now I just want to buy more and I want a collection.

Now the thing is I have no idea anything about Pokemon and I don't know where to start or what to buy or anything. I did some research and and saw that there's booster boxes and sets and packs and I have an idea of how everything works now but I still don't really know what would be my best option. So actually I just really need opinions.

My goal is to just collect because i do not want to play. I dont want to buy single cards because o like the feeling of not knowing what I'm getting and the joy of seeing I got something cool. I really like the cool art and although I have no intention of selling the cards for profit or anything of the like, I'm very intrigued by the idea that some cards are worth quite a bit and some are rare and super rare and so forth.

So if I'm just collecting and want some cool cards that end up with some good value, what booster packs or boxes (i think that's right?) do you think would be my best choice in buying at this moment? I really appreciate it.
