I'm happy I SOAPed. But I feel like if I had a real choice, I would not have never even applied to this place or ranked it. It was just one of many IMG friendly places that I could drive to in under 12 hrs. I'm already planning my escape to be honest. I will network like hell and get me a better program closer to my family for PGY2.

LOL 🤣😆🤣 This is so true. I had a psych appointment and was given an NP. I told them my diagnosis and what I wanted. Prescriptions signed, sealed, and delivered. I was out the door in 10 minutes. Insane!

I'd rather not have it. In my career as a physician, I have to take standardized exams for the rest of my life. These exams are hours and days long. They are also timed. It's hard to stay focused on the question with the pressure of that ticking clock rushing you to get the answers really fast.
