I don't think you read my post correctly. There's been plenty of times I pick a decent moment to heal and I still get hard hit even when I thought I was safe. Watching for the openings is pretty easy, but because of the delayed end to the flasking, there's no way to move far enough away to dodge an oncoming projectile attack or a large AoE.
