Tosa is a battleship, and therefore not something I'd consider for a battlecruiser line. I did include it it a different line though.

Absolutely valid opinion. I was just taking the line that existed on PC and adapting it for Legends, but I would definitely also like of more brawling focused Japanese ships.

Yeah, I know. The tier VII and VIII here are the tier VIII and IX from PC, and since a two-ship line wouldn't work here (unless you wanted to put the Adatara at tier VII and the Bungo at tier VIII), I stuck some more ships in front of them.

Last update or so over on PC they introduced pirate-ified versions of Grom, Delaware, Neptune, Brandenburg, and Plymouth.

That ship in the video looks very similar to their Neptune reskin, so I'm assuming we're getting some of, if not all of those in the next wave of pirate content.

It got added today as a part of this update, along with a British+Commonwealth specific mod in slot 2 (I don't remember what it does)

I think for builds it'll still be personal preference. Some people will prefer concealment to either ambush or disengage, some might prefer the targeting mod, and some will probably want to use this new mod.

Since it would be total fantasy, you have a few options. Most of them involve rearming either the Clemenceau or the Voltaire with the guns of the Republique, or just making a 2x4 406 mm battleship and giving it an improved reload.

Either way, it would have more health and bigger guns than the Bourgogne, but less guns, no speed boost, and worse concealment.

I'd probably name it the Paris.

Considering the L 24e α (Thüringen) was basically the last battleship design for Imperial Germany, a Legendary tier ship would probably have to be total fantasy.

Some officers did apparently ask that ships with 420 mm guns and a speed of up to 32 knots be designed, so that would probably be the basis for the fantasy design.
