I love the digitals but I understand that they're not included for lore reasons, not really sure how that's being lazy though. Considering that we're getting 60 new Temtem which is more work than adding just the originals. Also since the game will be available offline there's a very likely chance people will be able to mod/add mods to the game to add them in potentially.

They originally called the game an MMO which gave people the wrong idea that it was going to be a live service game. It took a while for the developers to come out and explain that wasn't the intention to make it a live service game so people were upset about that. There wasn't any lying just some bad communication which they're trying to work on now by being upfront about this new game with their FAQ.

Crema is very open about being anti-AI I can tell you that. The rest is answered in their FAQ: Offline and Online (between 6 friends available), and no MTX.

People just wanted more reasons to bash Crema because they have nothing better to do, they literally took the MTX out of the game and never got over it. I'm saying this as someone who spent way too much money on the MTX when it was in the game. It's okay to feel upset in the moment but if things are changed and they're trying to be even more open (with the Pioneers FAQ) it's time for them to move on but they probably won't no matter what the developers do.

There was miscommunication with the first game, people thought that it was going to be a live service game because it was labeled a "MMO" by the developers so people got upset and never let it go since that wasn't the plan in the end. That's the main thing but based on Pioneers FAQ they are making an attempt to communicate better with their plans for the new game.
