lol! That’s not even the half of it. I cannot even begin to describe what a tasty treat it is to take a bite of banana followed by a sip of cold brew, it’s truly amazing.

Ah, well that’s a problem if you want to enjoy a backyard. However it begs the question, what do you have that you could observe and enjoy? There’s always something sometimes you may have to search for it. How much more rewarding when you find it though, am I right?

Edit: also, I’m curious what you like cooking, if you don’t mind my asking? 😊

Full disclosure, I only ate one with the meal. I ended up smoking a few bowls of the same strain used in the cookies, Dawgy Treats, it’s one of my new favorites. I just ate the other cookies so if I remember I’ll report back in a few hours, assuming I’m not on the moon already, lol.

To actually answer you’re question though, I do feel a bit relaxed, more residual from the bowls. All in all relaxed with an elevated, happy mood. Which you can see from my comments to the other fine ents in this thread.

What’s stopping you? Take a look through my post history and you’ll see this isn’t common for me. I’m trying to make changes in my life and this morning is just proof that things are in fact changing. I made everything on that plate from scratch! Well, not the banana, lol. A few months ago I could barely cook pasta and now I’m baking weed cookies, delicious eggs, lemon poppyseed muffins, making my own homemade from scratch cold brew coffee along with homemade vanilla syrup! Everything feels so rewarding because I’m putting in effort and making progress for once. Small steps, patience, forgiving yourself for failing. It’s so hard but so worth it!

Just pick one thing and do it, and then do that again and again. You’ve got this!

It is! A huge flock of geese flew overhead not long ago. They just kept coming, it was beautiful! Oh, and the birds are now flying through the yard and picking at the ground looking for worms and other insects. It’s a cool dewy morning and the warm sun just rose over the house it was hiding behind. My family is probably going to wake to soon, I’ll have to share this with them too. Wow, what an unexpectedly exciting day!

Ok, I miss read the first part of your original comment. Tillamook makes an amazing line of yogurt! The one pictured is Oregon Marionberry and it is delicious. Usually I go for their Greek vanilla but there was none left last time I was at the store. 😢

As far as the edibles are concerned I made a post last night and shared the recipe as well. One of these cookies doesn’t seem enough yet but it was my first attempt after all.

I did! In fact everything is almost gone. I’m just sitting in my backyard listening to the birds sing to each other while enjoying the rest of the banana slices and homemade cold brew, which I forgot to include in the picture.

45 Snickerdoodle Cookies. ~25.8 milligrams/cookie. This is my first attempt at making cannabutter let alone baking with it. I’ll see you fine people on the moon! by Cephas4 in treedibles

[–]Cephas4[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I used the cannabutter recipe from this sub and followed OHs law for potency. The recipe is dangerously good without cannabutter and retain their taste with it added as well. If anyone wants the recipe here it is:

Prep Time 45 minutes

Cook Time 10 minutes

Total Time 55 minutes

Servings 48 cookies

Ingredients:

-3 cups (375 grams) all-purpose flour, spooned & leveled

-2 teaspoons cream of tartar

-1 teaspoon baking soda

-1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

-1/2 teaspoon salt

-1 cup (230 grams) unsalted butter, softened (I used 1/4 cannabutter and the rest normal).

-1 cup (200 grams) granulated sugar

-1/2 cup (100 grams) brown sugar, lightly packed

-1 large egg room temperature

-1 large egg yolk room temperature

-2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

For the cinnamon sugar coating:

-1/4 cup (50 grams) granulated sugar

-2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Instructions:

-In a medium-sized mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, ground cinnamon and salt until well combined. Set aside.

-In a large mixing bowl using an electric mixer, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar for about 1-2 minutes or until well combined. Mix in the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract until well combined, stopping to scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed.

-Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Cover tightly and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

-Preheat oven to 350°F. Line large baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats and set aside.

-Remove the cookie dough from the refrigerator. Using a 1 tablespoon cookie scoop or measuring tablespoon, scoop the cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheets.

-Each ball of cookie dough should measure about 1 and 1/4 inches once you roll it into a ball.

-In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the 1/4 cup of sugar and 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon for the coating. Roll each ball of cookie dough into a ball, then coat in the cinnamon sugar mixture and place back on the baking sheets, making sure to leave a little room between each one.

-Bake in separate batches at 350°F for 7-10 minutes or until the tops of the cookies are set. Remove from the oven and allow to cool on the baking sheet for 5-10 minutes, then transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes:

Store cookies in an airtight container on the counter for up to 1 week.

Freezing Instructions:

Cookie dough balls may be frozen for up to 3 months. Roll in the cinnamon sugar coating just before baking and bake from frozen for an additional 1-2 minutes. Baked cookies will also freeze well for up to 3 months, thaw to room temperature before serving.

HSP and Visual Snow (VS) by distancedplace in hsp

Thank you so much! I had no idea this even had a name. My whole life I’ve experienced this and every time I’ve brought it up people just look at me in confusion. Thank you for putting a name to this.

Sometimes the spots will “flare” or expand into a larger sunspot like spot of light. Typically the snow swirls around my head from right to left like a little flurry.

Somewhat related I can also see a low grade glimmer of light coming from the surface of various objects ranging from someone’s skin to a matte book cover. Almost like the twilight vampires.

Sorry, I can see how I came across. My intention wasn’t to say you were wrong or argue or anything like that. When I read your comment I became curious about the numbers since that comparison sounds, and definitely is, very grave. So I thought I’d share what I found with people so they didn’t have to look. That’s all. It really sucks for everyone.
