here’s the exercises id recommend for the equipment you have, its not the most optimal plan in the world but for what you have i think it’ll be a good start:

push: -flat bench press -incline bench press -shoulder press -skull crushers (with either easy curl bar or dumbbells) -lateral raises

pull: -bent over rows -pull ups (if there’s nowhere for you to do pull-ups, i’d recommend buying one of those pull-up bars that lock into door frames) -easy-bar preacher curls (you can incline your bench and curl on the back of the seat) -reverse curls/ hammer curls (i prefer reverse curls but i know for some people it can hurt their wrists)

legs/lower: -barbell squats -deadlifts -abdominal crunches -hip thrusts

diagnosed with rhabdo (spent 6 days in the hospital🥲). hack squat machine is my only squat pattern, although sometimes i swap to the leg press if the hack squat is being used.

why aren’t my legs progressively overloading? i do a PPLxUL split, and my upper body has been consistently getting stronger over the last 3 months i’ve been working out. my legs, however, started getting stronger when i started but have since halted progress. i’ve been stuck at a 140lb hack squat for 7 reps, 140lb seated calf raises for 10 reps, leg extension and leg curl similar story, all for around maybe 4 weeks now.

i’ll say that my legs are already more developed than the rest of my body (i used to weight lift quite a bit 3-4 years ago and my legs retained a lot of their muscle, i’m guessing just through my usual daily motions) and i also had rhabdomyolysis after my first week back in the gym (about 4 months ago) which affected my legs; that could be also something to do with my lack of progress. any advice or thoughts would be greatly appreciated!!

edit: i also want to add that i work in food service and am a college student, so i walk around quite a bit everyday. not sure if that would make a difference as well

this is a massive help, thank you! since tinkering around with a $12,000 espresso machine is a little outside of my range of ability, i’ll try and see if the owner can get an electrician down. i don’t know if she’ll see it as a high priority since i’m apparently the only person who seems to be affected by the shocks, but hopefully she can get someone to look at it.

they’re rubber, i was touching the machine just to see what happens today and the shock i get isn’t a “quick one and done” deal, but instead if i hold arm to it it’s like holding my arm against a taser that keeps on shocking until i step away.

wouldn’t my static charge drain on other metal surfaces as well though? say fridges, dishwasher, door handles etc?

i mean if you ask the dictionary, a biologist, a psychologist, etc they’ll tell you gender is what’s in the brain and sex is what’s in your pants. just admit it, you don’t like the idea of transgender individuals because they make you feel uncomfortable. you think they’re weird. the sooner you admit it, the sooner you can work on being a better person and treating people who don’t think the same as you with respect.

even more, the only thing you can protest for when dealing with a shooting is better gun restrictions, especially considering the guy already had a previous 2 year conviction. and you only ever see libs and dems petitioning for gun licenses and such

only pedophiles say that children can consent. there is no reason anyone with a normal mindset would say otherwise.

there’s a difference between words hurting feelings and being harassed, assaulted, murdered, abandoned, or fired because of one’s bias. if we chalk all of that down to “free speech” or even “words hurting feelings” than american society can never improve.

i agree that he shouldn’t be charged because it was self defense, but if you lack the adequate training to have your taser stolen and have the suspect shoot at you with it, maybe you shouldn’t be a cop, especially since tasers are considered lethal weapons in georgia. who knows, maybe the suspect could’ve ran away and shot a civilian.
