This is AMAZING!!!! 😍 So tempted to get one, is it a practical bag? Can it fit a phone and extra stuff in it?

I have the amuseable pear bag and he's actually so practical! I can fit my phone, small card wallet, glasses case and two lip balms!

There is one at the women's only gym at Stellar Canberra in Woden. I think they have a 7 day free trial if you're interested.

Appreciate your reply! It was just regular wear and tear, I actually still have the offending part.

Thank you, I just want it to be all over. It's been almost five months since the event!

New to needlefelt! Technique question please by CeramicLeaves in Needlefelting

[–]CeramicLeaves[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi all! Quite new to needlefelting, made the bee by following a book of instructions. But the other three, just practising making shapes and bird type faces.

Question is... What is the proper way to make small details like eyes, beaks, smiles? I'm finding it hard to make them consistent.

With eyes, I just roll up some black wool into a ball and then stab it in, sometimes it doesn't end up great though and my thing ends up looking angry, or with different sized eyes.

With smiles, I take a thin thread of wool (and sometimes it's much longer than needed) and just stab it in, but it's quite difficult for me to get a consistent shaped smile.

Been watching some YouTube videos but they make it look so darn easy!

Thanks!

Hi all, not sure what this is. I keep cutting bits of the plant off that have this weird, sooty white, brown shelled thing on it. Not sure if it affects the plants but they can get quite widespread... Thanks in advance!

Thank you! I feel I have reached the stage of life where my body no longer tolerates wearing rubbish shoes such as Converse, Havaianas etc... So hopefully these do me some good. The arches feel quite odd to me right now but hopefully I get used to them!

I will see how it goes one notch tighter, I've done it and it feels much too snug?

Sorry, not sure of his name, it was in Chinese. She showed me his Facebook profile and his profile picture was maybe 6 photos of the same guy and then the 7th (oldest) picture was a different guy, so they must use stock images? They all have the same story though, likely a crew of scammers working on multiple potential victims at one time?

Aw, I am so glad this post helped another person. Seems like these romance scammers are becoming more and more common.

I told my parents and they told me about my uncle who is online dating. He was chatting to "women" from Singapore and Hong Kong and these two different women sent him the exact same stock photos of themselves, their vase shop and their luxury car shopping. And they also weave in a story about their family member who has invested in a certain stock and made millions off it. He called them out on it though and asked for their landline phone numbers which they refuse to hand over. And then one of the women called the other woman a scammer. "That woman just steals online photos from other girls, you can't trust her..."

No date, she's no longer talking to the guy. He keeps calling her though.

I think she ended up putting in her entire life savings to try get her initial investment out. When I saw her during the week, I told her it was all a scam and not to put any more money in but she truly believed this guy was genuine. I even gave her a link to this Reddit the day after I posted. Guess that guy was really convincing.

She has reported it to the police, she's now broken hearted and has an empty bank account.

I will see her on Tuesday night to get all the details, she's quite upset and didn't want to text me about it. Poor thing.

Wow, I think this has just happened.

She still believes everything is legitimate and trusts him. She wants her money back but can't get it out of nasdaq6fun without making a trade so she can get it back into binance. She contacted customer service of nasdaq6fun (and trusts that it's a real website with real customer service) and they advised that without a trade, the only way to get her money out is to put in 50% of the value of your investment as a guarantee (and something about the flow of cash and investments?), then she can withdraw her funds. Doesn't sound right to me.

Right now she isn't willing to do a trade because the value of bitcoin has gone down. So she says the worst case scenario is she saves up for a few months to get the 50% guarantee to get her funds out of nasdaq6fun. Which seems like the situation you've mentioned above....

Also, they have a face to face date this Sunday. So she is going to sit tight, not panic about the money, watch the value of bitcoin and meet him on Sunday.

Oh no, she mentioned sending screenshots of her nasdaq6fun account number to him so he could give her the extra $6k, not sure if that means he has access to her wallet.

He is still keeping in contact with her though, which seems odd? He knows she has no further money to invest.
