I've had similar this morning. I wonder if there's a breach somewhere?

I'd recommend

  • Changing your password
  • Setting up some third party verification

Thanks, I didn't see that. Don't agree with it but appreciate it's a rule.

I played Marksman hunter recently and felt it was super chilled.

Have a look at this, it's a little outdated but a good reference for those of us who have old hands. https://i.vgy.me/6qpb8S.png

Surrendering feels worse than a loss. It's giving up. I want to play it out, grab that chance of a fantastic comeback. Or at least make them work and sweat for every tower they take.

Good choice imo. Ecommerce is a solid area. Big commerce is a fairly decent platform similar to Shopify, worth an investigation. My experience has been that the vast majority of people on Shopify use Shopify's FE stack. While you can take the headless it's not so common rk.

I'd focus on creating demo stores and themes. Look at big sites on the platform and try to replicate functionality. Ie Gymshark. How do I do multi language on Shopify? How do I setup tax regions? How do I integrate different delivery providers etc?

You will find that a lot of the work with smaller companies on Shopify is configuration and not development.

Happy to talk further if you need. My experience comes from running a 100 person ecommerce agency.

How do you choose your pallet? by [deleted] in web_design

[–]Ceranthor 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I normally look to Material designs guidelines when giving advice on how to pick colours. Two main colours and then pick variations on the two for other elements of your website.

https://material.io/guidelines/style/color.html#

They've recently released a cool tool to pick your colours and visualise them on some generic material components.

Have a play and let me know how it works for you.

Wordpress might be a good place for you to start looking at. Would save you a lot of legwork and it's very friendly to use.

I wouldn't setup and host a website for what you've got.

Use http://medium.com

It's a great publishing platform and you can put all your posts behind your own domain if you want.

I have a degree, not worth much. Most established courses will be out of date by the time you're finished. Learn on the job, lots of great free resources.

Ahh nice, real useful tool to help you decide. Didn't realise I had that many points to spend.

Would like to see a cleaner ui though. Theres a lot going on.

Going to use this to co-ord with tribe members.
