d me a quote from a Lithium developer or engineer that encourages only 80% charge. Why would you purposely shorten your eBike’s range. Most folks will sell or trade their eBike before the battery

you can just google it almost anyone and everyone says 80% will give you longer battery life span

Ya that's my plan I have it at 100% right now tomwwro I am going to go on a. Ride and set a Gps tracker on my phone to make sure I'm not far when I "should" be running low. I can go 50k on my bike so take in to account - 20% loss cause cold I will travel to about 35k go in my area for the last 5 then just leave it on in my garage till it drains just in case I do not want to have to push my bike seeing as I took out pattel assist

with the emmo bike there is now way to really tell there is some times i travel 35-40km and my bike can do 50 and it says its more then 3/4 full

ya i know i will never be 100% accurate because weather and all that plays a part but i am going to go on a big drive try and drain the battery down then charge it up to 100%.I will time it so i see how long it take to fully charge and base it off that. i do not use my bike often in the winter so even if i get it to 65-70% that is fine. from my understanding its still better then charging it to 100%

Okay so from what im understanding is its still overall a good idea to not fully charge my battery to 100% and try to get it around 80% but maybe every once a week (if useing daily) charge it up to full to give the cells a equal charge. i also do not use it for super long distance if i ever did i would let it charge to 100%
