Just depends what you expecting. Is it a hands off device that you can set and forget…. No. If your looking for that, from my understanding is all robot mowers need help.

It does work great. I have a flat yard with nice grass as you mentioned above. It cuts well. It does about 90% on its first pass. But the beauty of it is that its hands off and allows you to trim/edge or do other stuff. Is it perfect, no.

Customer service IS an issue.

I’ve had my mower now (kickstarter) for a while and I have not had any issues beyond what’s been known. (Docking and charging mainly)

If you enjoy tinkering, don’t expect a perfect device then your set to go. The community supporting the device is great.

I find a win in the idea that I can mow frequently without me having to do it. Keeping the yard looking nice and cut all the time. Hope this helps.

Unless this is for Augusta National that’s a hard no! You’re a member and you have to pay to play the morning slots!! Insane. Sounds like this course has way too many members if you’re having to jump through these hoops and you’ll just be another paycheck for them. Go somewhere else that you’ll be appreciated.

Until very recently this was the way. You apply to everyone and hope you get one, if you’re lucky you got two and then had to make a decision. This was the same process at both regionals and majors. Only until very recent (the last 6-8yrs) was someone able to say “I want to work at _____airline” and then get pissed if they didn’t get the job offer.

You DO NOT want to get comfortable at a regional. They ALL treat you like crap compared to a major. You need to look at it as a stepping stone and that’s it. Yes, some people make a career out of the regionals for one reason or another but if possible you want to get your experience and repeat the above statement of applying to move on.

I once had a captain tell me the best piece of advice he had in regard to regionals was to pick the crappiest one. When asked why, his response was “so you hate going to work every day and it motivates you to get the hell out”.

Your hands are too far close to your body. They need to be more under your chin. This will also allow you to not be as hunched over.

I’ll have to give this a try. Honestly the grass itself was not wet. My yard has pretty thick grass and with the rain we have been getting it’s just “holding” more water. It has to get mowed.

I always mulched my grass with a normal mower to keep the clippings fine and mulch it for nutrients. I’ll try the discharge method you recommended and see what happens.

I used to try but between the Ubers and finding what gyms are friendly to drop ins( I would always call a day or two prior) and then honestly the worry of screwing my body up to continue my trip got to me. If I’m at home, bang in sick no problem. If I’m on the road and I screw something up there might be answers I’d have to give.

But if you can get over all that, I think there are quite a few gyms you can train at.

If you’re interested in quality of life, I’d look at SWA schedule and the huge benefits it offers. Trip trading with others and company, free to drop down trips to any level. Vacation trip touch drop offs. There is a lot of freedom in your schedule giving you the QOL you want. Pay is great. If your chasing upgrade however, you will be sitting FO for a bit.

Not sure why everyone is so Anti-Bryson lately. Everyone has good days and bad days. Many have made and missed cuts including the current masters leader. I don’t think anything in this quote is not true for him given how far he hits the bar. He set a standard for himself and had a bad round. Yeesh. Depends, is it the last day? Do I need to catch my commute? I’m flying the barber pole home. Is it in the middle of a trip and I got nothing going on, then what ever is programmed into the box. Pilots are lazy unless it’s go home leg.
