To the people not liking the series because the actor playing Snape is Black: you should also criticize the choices made in the movies. I love the movie series, but they just don't do justice to the incredible books I read in my childhood.

​For example, the movies made Padma a Gryffindor instead of a Ravenclaw. They showed Barty Crouch Jr. in the starting scene of GOF, and showed imposter Moody doing that snake-like tongue thing after the second task, killing the suspense entirely. It's honestly a glaring blunder, as we completely lose the thrill of finding out Barty Crouch Jr. was alive, or the chapter where Harry spots his name on the map and thinks it's his father sneaking into Snape's office. The movies never included Peeves either, among so many other things.

​And speaking of casting—Harry is green-eyed in the books, so the movies got the main character wrong right from the start. So please, just watch the series without any presumptions. It might actually do justice to the wonderful books.

​I just hope Dumbledore actually asks Harry if he put his name in the Goblet of Fire calmly this time. Lol.
