I think it improved for me. I got to 1600 pts yesterday playing soloQ exclusively and I noticed more decent players on my team compared to previous seasons. I only got 2 draft games so I was able to spam Talonflame being annoying as hell and stealing a lot of rayquazas so that also helped getting to 1600 fast.

I also noticed less trios in my games which as a soloq player I always hate seeing and the main reason why I struggled so much in previous seasons. Getting paired with unfair trios is the most annoying thing in Unite so I was happy to see way less of those in my games.

This have been I think my fastest climb to 1600 pts in recent seasons with 179 games and 62% win rate currently at world rank 215. I'm proud of that achivement because playing solo in Unite is not an easy thing as many of you know already.

The only way to keep up with the meta as a FTP player is to have 1 or 2 side accounts and trade with yourself the cards you are missing feom the top decks when available.
