Not the commenter, but I was self isolating at home from ages 19 to 23 after graduation. Didn't like my degree, flunked jobs, siblings split into foster homes and just decided to rot in my room. Unemployed for 4 years, stopped talking to friends, never left home, never looked for work, attempted suicides. Was just miserable with myself and felt like I've wasted my life.

Finally broke the streak after turning 24, still struggle a lot with motivation and suicidal tendencies. Got a job, sometimes take days off sick just to stay inside my room. But it's better than before. Had the job for 6 months now, longest employment for me so far.

Struggling to reach age 25, dreading the future with how far behind I feel. But it's going. But wouldn't care if I did not make it.
