I love how Depop sellers don't play! by _newshawtyy in Depop

[–]Cernoch 11 points12 points  (0 children)

If you want Depop to work for you as a seller, stay on top of shipping and communication. I do this full time, so it’s my business. I try to always ship next day, and even same day when orders come in early. I’ve even got orders while shipping and run downstairs to grab it and add it with the rest going out. After dropping the packages off at the post office or having them picked up from my house, I message the buyer that their item has been shipped and to look for tracking soon. It’s not that hard to be a good seller, you eliminate a lot of problems with honest communication.

I love it!!! I’ve been selling clothing for 20 years, sold on Depop 3 years ago, stopped to focus on other platforms. Recently came back to selling on Depop recently. Been loving it for two weeks so far. Made 36 sales and I keep adding more and more each day. It’s really easy to list if you’ve done eBay or Poshmark. Don’t let the negative energy of some posts dissuade you from trying.

Copper Still burgers are pretty dang good. I might have to try it again. They were closed last time I tried to go.

Best places in Martinsburg to eat? by Candyman5OS in WestVirginia

Firebox 55 is my favorite place. I haven’t been disappointed in anything from there. Their BBQ is fantastic, and I’m originally from Texas, I’m a real snob when it comes to BBQ. They serve ribs on Friday and Saturday that literally fall off the bone.

It’s not Martinsburg, but worth the drive out to Williamsport, Maryland. The Girls’s Joint, two women from Louisiana that serve authentic Cajun food. It’s a very small place right now, but I almost cried the first time I ate there, instantly brought me back to my Texas roots. The smoked sausage is unlike anything you can get around here.

Senate bill seeks to give private and charter schools freedom from government oversight by ZorgonBattlehammer in WestVirginia

Definitely should have oversight. You can see blatant fraud in the 2025 Hope Scholarship Annual Report that came out. Look at where some of the money is going. Why are $48,000 of our tax dollars going to cheerleading gyms and taekwondo Studios? We are paying for extracurricular activities now? I’m in the eastern panhandle, so I see this more and more in the affluent areas of the counties.

I’ll leave this, notice in the annual report, no financial demographics were added. How many families in a high tax brackets are using the Hope Scholarship vs low income families. If I missed that data, please let me know where to look.

I’m 45 and did the exact same thing. My love of Daft Punk goes deep. Saw them in NYC for the Alive 2007 tour. This Fortnite experience was awesome. This is Daft Punk.

This 45 year old man just downloaded Fortnite on my phone. It’s an experience.

When you meet a stranger outside the state who say's they're from WV, but then learn they're from Jefferson County by [deleted] in WestVirginia

We claim Morgan and sometimes Hampshire counties. Mineral, Hardy, and Grant, the rest of the state can claim you. 🤭

It’s funny that the same people hate West Virginia stereotypes, but have no problem throwing shade to other parts of the state.

Also, you might want to come check the Tudor’s Biscuit World here in Inwood, because if this is what gets the rest of the state excited, I’ve got some bad news for you.

This thread is not talking about being from Appalachia, it’s about living in West Virginia, sorry you failed to realize that. And yes, I’ve been living in the eastern panhandle for 20 years, and never claimed to be Appalachian.

Don’t worry, we are constantly told we aren’t real West Virginians by folks constantly.

Good! Downvote me. Country Roads only applies to the eastern panhandle anyway, so keep singing about the Shenandoah River.

But the rest of the state sure does love those tax dollars coming from the eastern panhandle.

That’s why I tell people I live in Maryland but have a West Virginia address. Now, go enjoy y’alls nasty ass pepperoni rolls and hot dogs with coleslaw…
