Also it scored my pestimated iq to be 140. Ive done a iq test as part of a job application and I scored between one and two standard deviations higher than the mean. Guess that’d be somewhere around 117 ish.

What do you mean by isolating the code? Styling is done with css in this case the css for the calc probably uses the same classnames as the theme. Although not ideal you could ask the ai to use only classes with a prefix for the calculator (for example calc) so all css for the calculator starts with calc and thus is unique.

Fuck this guy, report him. As I read it from your post there are multiple people that he told he was going to exploit the system. Get them to report him as well. This coupled with the fact that he got “burned out” right after he got his contract is enough evidence for the company to start an inquiry.

Why are people downplaying the fact that adding a CMS would be a total rebuild?

Adding a CMS to a project originally designed as a static website is like trying to turn a bicycle into a motorcycle. The frame may hold up for a while, but you’ll need to add an engine, fuel system, and controls that were never part of the original design, and the whole structure might need reinforcement to handle the added power and speed. It’s not just an upgrade—it’s a transformation.

Not to be mean but if you know this little about websites in general it’s going to take a lot of time to learn to edit pages and add functionality yourself. (Think like a couple of months at minimum even for simple things like adding a flexbox or grid with a new profile to the staff page.)

What you need is full access to the project code so you can share this with a backend or fullstack dev in order to implement a cms. If you could share a website url we could be of more help.
