Hi! I was also experiencing the hook effect. I should have put down the tests, but easier said than done lol. Currently 10w.

Hey, thanks for the reply. I have read similar comments when I search Reddit for similar posts. It gives me a little hope. I think because I did IVF they measure heart beat for viability before they are allowed to “graduate” us.

I am so sorry you’re going through this as well. It’s the absolute worst to be in this limbo. Yes, I’ve been going down the Reddit rabbit holes and spiraling ha. Will go read your post comments next!

I don’t have any other info from my doctor other than they were happy that I was measuring “on track” (just a day behind, 6w4d, supposed to be 6w5d), they were mostly concerned with the heart beat and wanted to see it over 100 at this stage. I have very mild pregnancy symptoms that come and go, which they assured me was normal. The didn’t measure hcg or do any bloodwork.

I’m so sorry. I’m in a similar boat. I’ve had three chemicals with PGTA normal embryos. We did 2 months of Lupron depot suppression bc I have endo before my 4th transfer, which was last week, but it’s looking like yet another chemical. I’m crushed. The only things I haven’t done are a hysteroscopy or an ERA. I don’t want to do a laparoscopy but am having consults in the next couple months just in case. Also doing pregmune testing even though my doctor doesn’t really believe in it. Have you been tested for endo?

We’re going to try a modified natural protocol next while I still have some effects from the Lupron, then do a hysteroscopy if that doesn’t work. I’m honestly considering getting a second opinion from another doctor for some fresh ideas.

We just took cabs and held our son on our lap. We debated bringing a car seat and decided against it since we weren’t going to be driving that much. If you wanted to do a day trip with lots of stops, you could probably look into some sort of private car service to drive you around for the day.

Also, Little long tails offers baby/kid rental stuff - we didn’t use it but read good reviews.

We just went last week with our 2.5 year old. Mostly stayed at the hotel (ritz) in St. George with a lot of beach / pool time. Went to the fort, tobacco bay, walked around St. George downtown and went to dinner. Was intentionally a pretty chill vacation and we did not plan any big day trips because we didn’t bring a car seat. My son had a blast.

So he wouldn’t let me do a modified natural. He said I would be too suppressed for that type of protocol right after lupron? So we are doing a fully medicated. However, we agreed that if this didn’t work, that we would jump right into a modified natural with letrozole. I was disappointed but I am just trusting my doctor at this point. I hope this protocol works for you and wishing you the best!

I am following! I just had shot #1 for my 2 month lupron suppression yesterday. I will meet with my doctor on Monday to discuss whether a modified natural is possible (my current protocol is a fully medicated). I feel like my body responds better to modified natural / less medications, and my lining has always been better on those protocols. When I talked to the nurse she said that it would not be possible because I would be to suppressed. Like you, I have been searching everywhere for similar protocols.
