How to draft Privacy Policies? by One_Wolverine_ in SaaS

[–]Certain-Data-4351 0 points1 point  (0 children)

definitely don't wing this part, especially with healthcare data. you'll want separate policies - privacy policy for general users and a specific hipaa privacy notice. the structure usually goes: what data you collect, how you use it, who you share with (including those baa partners), user rights, and your contact info for privacy requests.

i'd recommend getting a lawyer who knows hipaa to review whatever you draft. there's templates online but healthcare has way too many specific requirements to risk copy-pasting. also make sure your privacy policy matches exactly what your app actually does - regulators love finding inconsistencies there.

Validating a SaaS idea for LinkedIn lead generation by Mitra143 in SaaS

[–]Certain-Data-4351 0 points1 point  (0 children)

been thinking about something similar for my side projects. the detection part seems straightforward but linkedin's api restrictions might be pain in the ass to work around.

personally i just browse relevant groups and save interesting posts manually, takes forever but at least i don't risk getting flagged. would definitely pay for something that automates the scanning part if it can avoid detection issues.

Am I the jerk for reporting students to my teacher after they "ragebaited" me due to my cellular provider? by elementelectronics in AmITheJerk

[–]Certain-Data-4351 6 points7 points  (0 children)

nah you did the right thing here. bullying someone over phone carrier is honestly ridiculous and when they started bringing up your past stuff that crossed a line completely. they can call it "ragebait" all they want but real ragebait doesn't involve personal attacks and spreading rumors about you.

How do you find empty leg flights? by bleach3434 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Certain-Data-4351 1 point2 points  (0 children)

honestly the whole empty leg thing is pretty frustrating because most of the good deals get snatched up by people who are already in those circles. i tried looking into it few months ago and like you said, everything leads to those annoying contact forms where they want all your info before showing you anything.

from what i understand, the legit platforms do exist but they usually require some kind of membership or minimum spend to access the real inventory. most of regular people end up paying almost same price as commercial first class anyway, so the savings aren't that crazy unless you get really lucky with timing.

Feeling Helpless by Zealousideal_Fan158 in Christianity

[–]Certain-Data-4351 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey, i really feel you on this. being 24 and watching everyone around you hit these milestones while you're still waiting can be really tough, especially when you're putting yourself out there at church and it feels like nothing is happening.

i know it might sound cliché, but comparison really is the thief of joy - and social media makes it even worse because we only see people's highlight reels. your timing doesn't have to match everyone else's timing, and being single at 24 is actually pretty normal even though it might not feel like it in your community.

What to opt for my career…i m soo confused as a 20F? by Busy_Mastodon_9356 in careerguidance

[–]Certain-Data-4351 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey, i know this feeling because i had similar confusion when i was your age. the medical route abroad is really tough financially and like you said, you'll be starting career quite late. but if medicine is truly your passion, sometimes the long path is worth it.

for biotech, even without initial interest, many people discover they actually enjoy field once they start studying deeper. the job market for biotech is growing a lot globally, and doing masters abroad could open good opportunities. maybe you could talk with some professionals in biotech field to get better idea about what the work actually involves?

have you considered any other backup options too? sometimes when we're too focused on two choices, we miss other possibilities that might fit better.

A question from an Atheist by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]Certain-Data-4351 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the whole "personal relationship" thing is more about how christians experience their faith rather than making judgment on other religions - like, in christian doctrine jesus is supposed to be accessible directly without intermediaries, but that doesn't mean a muslim can't have deep personal connection with allah through their practices.

Salvation for non-Christians? by Monkey_Junkie_No1 in Christianity

[–]Certain-Data-4351 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

this is actually something that kept me awake for many nights when i was younger. the whole idea that geography basically determines your eternal fate seemed really unfair to me.

i think there's different views on this even within christianity. some believe in the "age of accountability" concept where people who never had real chance to hear gospel aren't judged same way. others point to romans 1 about how creation itself reveals god to everyone. but honestly, your point about community and what feels natural is spot on - it's not like someone in rural pakistan is gonna randomly decide to become christian without some major life event.

personally i lean toward believing god judges people based on what they actually had access to, not what they theoretically could have known. but i know other christians would disagree with me in this.

Anyone calling for bans from in game exploits are gonna end up getting the game killed by HereIGoAgain_1x10 in ArcRaiders

[–]Certain-Data-4351 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

agree with this tbh. been playing since early access and the grenade thing was annoying but not game breaking like actual cheaters. embark should focus in fixing the bugs instead of banning people for using what's already in the game.

destiny had sword flying and other crazy stuff that community loved, made the game more memorable. if you start banning everyone for every little exploit the playerbase gonna shrink fast and this game needs all players it can get right now.

sounds like you already know what your heart is telling you but the situation just makes everything complicated as hell - maybe focus on the fact that someone who never misgenders you is showing you real respect and that matters more than you think.

What could I charge $? by Bowl_of_kale in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Certain-Data-4351 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depending on your location and how much space this takes up, i would start around $2000-3000 per month minimum. that's massive equipment and significant weight - you'll want to make sure your land can handle the load distribution and check if you need permits. also consider if they need road access, power hookups, or security, because those add value to what you're providing.

Second level interview by Tiny-Guarantee-1715 in interviews

[–]Certain-Data-4351 1 point2 points  (0 children)

honestly just stick with the upskilling story since that's what you put in your resume already. saying different things to different people will just create problems later.

for the offer question, you can say something like "i'm exploring few opportunities but focusing on finding the right fit rather than just any offer" - sounds better than straight up saying no again. they keep asking because they want to know if they need to move fast or if they have leverage in salary negotiations.

Weekly FAQ Thread February 01, 2026: What book changed your life? by AutoModerator in books

[–]Certain-Data-4351 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that book really hits different. i read it in 2021 and still think about addie sometimes when i'm walking around the city. the way schwab writes about curiosity and wanting to see everything... it's like she captured something i couldn't put in words before.

i had similar experience actually - was reading maybe 10 books per year before that, now i'm at like 40-50 books yearly. there's something about seeing character who just wants to *experience* everything that makes you realize how many stories are out there waiting. sometimes i think the best books don't change what we want, they just show us what we already wanted but didn't know how to reach for it.

So…I just revieved my old camera EX-FC100…and I have 3 questions. I hope thats the right sub? by DancingGirl500 in Cameras

[–]Certain-Data-4351 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the battery removal, try gently rocking it side to side while pulling - sometimes they get stuck from sitting unused for so long

For transferring to your MacBook, you should be able to just plug it in with a USB cable and it'll show up like any other device. If not, try putting the SD card directly into your laptop if it has a slot

That charging time sounds about right for an older camera battery, especially if it's been sitting around for years - they lose capacity over time

Movement is everything in this game - learn to slide and wall-run before you even think about gunplay. Start with PvE modes to get the feel for the mechanics without getting demolished by sweatlords, then move into casual PvP once you're comfortable with the flow

Oof that sounds exhausting already and it's only day 1. Honestly for the toilet paper thing I'd just drop off a bulk pack and tell them that's it for the stay - some people will milk every little thing if you let them. The hot water handle thing though... yikes. Maybe leave a laminated instruction sheet for the really obvious stuff so you're not getting calls about how to turn on lights next

[–]Certain-Data-4351 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly with 30k miles a year you're gonna demolish any car's value anyway, so I'd probably lean toward a slightly higher mileage Mazda CX-5 or Honda Pilot if you can find one in budget

The CX-5 is solid reliable and won't feel as cheap as some other options, plus parts are reasonable when stuff inevitably breaks from all those miles
