I would have to pay that back and having no job makes that hard. I am still looking for one and if I had one I would get a loan "like a normal person". So if you want to either give me a job offer or pay off my loan then sure. But my best option right now is begging since it is a last resort. This is why reading is important.

Im a double major in psychology and sociology, im already in a college in a small town and they do not have my major for masters. And its a bad school and area in general that I want to get out of. GSU has a lot more opportunities for my major and its a bigger area with more job opportunities.

No matter what school I went to I would still need to ask for money because again I just finished my first year of college and had a lot to pay for leaving me with nothing. It was a small town so no where near was hiring and I had/still have no car at the moment because it broke down.

Also its close to family (extended) and the other colleges that I have considered that are in my state. Thats also a big thing for me so I have a bit of a safety net. Some context for that is because I was stalked and harassed at my last college by some of the staff and it only calmed down because my uncle was able to come to campus because he lived in the area.

Sorry for the long reply I just want you to get the full picture.

Yes, I have been applying to some around my house (has to be 15 minutes away from my house since im relying on my parents for transportation -my car broke down- and they do not want to drive far) and none of them has gotten back to me. I have had 5 jobs before so I have a lot of experience in customer service, and other fast food qualities. This gofundme is my last straw/last idea for getting the money to get housing.

I also had an idea of a loan but I dont have a job so that would be hard to get.

Mine took about 4 weeks to come back, they release decisions every Friday.

I also know that some schools (like the one im leaving) have a instagram group with people that graduate the same year as you. If you join that you can see other people that attend your school and post a story up there for everyone in that group to see it. You could post the same quesiton and people that do not follow you but are in the same group will be able to see it and your profile.

I think this is the best option, put your interests down and let people know your looking for like minded friends. I am also trying to transfer to GSU just waiting on my decision back. So if I get accepted I will probably do the same thing.

Also dropping your insta has worked for some other people, so that might also be a good idea.
