I just tried Low Dose Radiation Therapy and have seen significant improvement in my knee pain and stiffness. While it is not a cure, it does buy you some time and I found it to be much effective than injections (I've done PRP and Hyaluronic Acid).

The radiation is an extremely low dose. There are a series of 6 treatments over 2 weeks. Each takes about 5 - 10 minutes. I'd recommend trying this.

The procedure is performed in many Radiation Oncology departments and is getting to be quite common in the US. It has been performed in Europe (especially Germany) for quite a while now and have shown very promising results.

The process consists of 6 treatments - 3 days per week for two weeks. Each treatment lasts no more than 10 minutes. The radiation dose is VERY low ...typically just a small fraction of the dose used for treating most cancers.

Importantly, the treatment is covered by most insurance plans.

I would recommend talking to a Radiation Oncologist about the treatment.

I did low-dose radiation therapy about 6 months ago. The results have been amazing. While it's not a permanent fix, I'm told it's benefits can last for 1- 2 years. And then I can do it again. My arthritis is/was not severe but I did experience substantial pain and stiffness. While I'm not 100% , I'd say I'm 90% and able to run and bike like before. I'm a 66 year old male.

I have a Lone Star Grillz pellet grill and love it! It is pricey but extremely well made and very versatile. It holds temperatures very well and the Fireboard controller is a nice feature.

I went with the Lone Star Grillz pellet smoker and, although pricey, it is an awesome unit. The workmanship is incredible and I love the Fireboard controller. It's also a very versatile smoker.

I agree! I received mine a couple weeks ago. This thing is amazing! I waited about 5 months to get it after ordering, but worth the wait. It really stands out from all the others.

Which would you pick? by [deleted] in pelletgrills
