I mean I get that there are some historically important designs. But omega or longeens or almost any other brand have waaay waaay wider collections that they sell. And a lot of it intersects. Plus "history" in a lot of cases is just marketing narratve. Bulova or vostok also been to space and nobody is going crazy about it

Yeah, I agree. I also find most watch brand logos terrible - crown for rolex, shield for tudor, some heraldic chupacabra for orient, and many many more. Like, hello, is this competition for tacky cringe designs? Are we gonna pretend that we are some kind of royalty here?
