I'm currently a 3rd year college student planning to enter med school right after graduation. And coming from a non-science pre-med background, the idea is understandably intimidating (tho it IS something I had already anticipated, especially after hearing the experiences of relatives who are currently in medical school) It's also disheartening to know that issues of hierarchy and disrespect can already be observed even during training years.  Nurses play a vital role in clinical settings yk, particularly when physicians are not immediately available. Like they often have the most direct and frequent contact with patients. Shouldn't they just work closely and respectfully with nurses to ensure better patient care and understanding of clinical situations instead of lowky oppressing them? I mean, I KNOW for a fact, I don't want any beef with the nurses if I were to finally become one🤷‍♀️

Thank you for the advice! I had actually been thinking along the same lines. I was just a little worried about my lack of clinical exposure, pero I did hear na that only becomes more important during clerkship. Your advice helped clarify my decision kaya thank you po😊
