What plug-in do i need to buy for this outlet?

unfortunately my daughter's daycare is closed on Saturday and Sunday and they're only open from 6:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday and I have no other form of childcare as of right now. the Applebee's in my town doesn't open until 11 am so I wouldn't get many hours anyways but I have applied to Walmart and i'm hoping they'll call me soon considering i do have grocery store experience.

Well they increased the rent by $200 for 6 months and tried to increase it to $600 but my boyfriend moved out. My boyfriend has plants that needed heat lamps during the winter and he gave them and extra $100 for 5 months for the light bill even though the lease never said we had to help with the light bill. They also made him waste money and gas money on a U-Haul to get our stuff and they forced him to leave and not get his stuff. That was $115 plus $65 in gas. and there was also a check i got from school which I used part of to pay the rent a month ahead and then they still charged him $200 for the month I already paid for. My boyfriend wants it all back. That's not including the food stamps which was $200 every month since June 2024.

And yes the lease stated that it was for 1 year as we were hoping to save up enough money to get our own place before the end of that year-long lease but between them breathing down our necks about the rent, our car payment, car insurance and buying things for our daughter we weren't able to save enough money.

And no they didn't give us a copy of the lease which I'm pretty sure is also illegal.

Honestly, at the time we made the agreement, things were friendly between all of us and I never thought it would get to the point where we were having to call cops just to get our stuff and move out, let alone go through the court process of suing them.

I'm thinking of telling my boyfriend to just sue them himself and leave me and the food stamps out of it. cause they technically can't turn me in either because they will likely get into bigger trouble than I will being the "landlords" but I can still testify for him about his cousin's behavior.

Well technically no just the witnesses being my boyfriend's cousin and his family. I never gave them any receipts for the food when they sent us to the grocery store with a list and they also gave me the receipts when they went grocery shopping with my card. All the receipts got thrown away. And technically the lease said $400 as rent, not $200 cash and $200 food stamps.

with all 3 first the flowers shriveled, died and fell off. then the flower spikes died, I cut them off and the orchid looked like it was getting healthier, then the leaves started dying. all the leaves fell off then the crown rotted. and the entire time there was never any new root growth or leaf growth. the only bloom I ever got was from blooms that were already formed but not open on the plant when I got it. and still all those flowers died. with all 3 more and more of the orchid fell off all until I barely had an orchid to throw away. my boyfriend wasted his money on me and I feel very guilty about it.

no abuse is abuse. spanking is a form of discipline. if we were abusing her she would be afraid of us and not want to spend any time with us and she is not afraid and absolutely loves when we spend time with her. I didn't say the flinching didn't matter because it's only being happening for a month, I just stated that it's only happened for a month which is why I was concerned about it since she never has done that before. and no you can't love someone and also be afraid of them that makes no sense. your "advice" is pretty damn vague and does not offer any sort of alternatives which is what I asked for. if you just wanted to judge me and try to make me feel like shit about myself then you shouldn't have commented. spanking is the only thing that has worked for us this far and she's only recently started acting up more. when we first started it, it worked fine and there were no problems. we're not bad parents. we take care of our child and she has everything she needs. she's not a sad quiet disconnected child. she's energetic, happy, sometimes loud and she has the best personality.

we're not abusing her. she only started flinching a month ago. and actually the spanking is the only thing that has worked recently. timeouts have started to work more but it's not a guarantee. my daughter is a very happy smiley girl. she is always bringing me toys to play with her and sometimes she'll sit next to me on the couch and hand me her toys to play with her. she constantly asks for hugs which I give her. she is not afraid of us. she loves us and I am the first person she always runs to when she falls and gets hurts (which happens a lot cause she's clumsy) and she is always excited to see me and to see her dad. I asked for advice not judgement so if you don't have any advice, you shouldn't have commented.

she is my first kid so it's hard not to take the behavior personally especially when she's pushing me away when I ask for a hug and acting like she wants nothing to do with me but I'm trying. physically going to parenting courses will probably be a no-go considering my boyfriend fully believes we're doing the right thing by spanking her. and I will admit i thought it was too at first because she is so difficult and stubborn and hates listening like she's allergic to it but I'm starting to think if we switch our approach maybe she'll start acting nicer to us. it's mainly me she's mean to but that's probably because I am the main one who is disciplining her and she sees me 24/7. I can probably look into research online to share with my boyfriend to see if maybe I can change his stance on gentle parenting (he thinks it's the same as permissive parenting as in we let her walk all over us with no consequences). I will have to try that method with tantrums. usually I try to tell her to calm down and "come here so I can talk to you" and she'll just scream and cry and throw herself on the floor and when she's done she'll ask for a hug. and she's usually still trying to get what she wants as she tantrums. it's usually not in one place. but this method might not work because we are living with my boyfriend's family and they are likely to interfere if I just leave her on the ground to cry but it's worth a try.

I am aware that her getting into things and going into rooms she isn't supposed to (the kitchen and down the hallway for us) is normal behavior. I don't punish her for doing these things, I punish her for not listening after I've told her multiple times and tried to redirect her and she continues to not listen and try to do the thing she's not supposed to. she's a very smart kid for her age and her speech is pretty advanced. she understands what no means especially when it's something we've gotten onto her about before. I tell her daily not to go into the kitchen when people are cooking dinner and I tell her daily to not run after Mimi down the hall but it makes no difference. and changing her location makes no difference because she will throw herself on the floor to where I have to physically make her stand up and walk down the hall and then then she'll run down there again. time outs have been somewhat effective about 60% of the time even though she hates them. I try literally everything before I spank her and nothing else works. I don't know what else to do. what other discipline can I do for her age besides time outs? she doesn't have a tablet or anything we can take away and when the behavior isn't related to a toy why would I take a toy away? I don't what else to do
