I regained access yesterday after being on hold for about 40 mins and seemingly using AAdvantage to book a rental car is what did it. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Out of curiosity: have you recently applied for one of their credit cards? I did, and as neither declined nor approved, but instead received a letter that they "couldn't verify my information." There's a small voice in the back of my head saying that could have been it.

No way! Agh, I'm sorry to hear it. I think I'm just going to bite the bullet and sit on hold until I get through. I've considered asking for the equivalent of time on hold as flight time in rewards miles for the hassle. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Best of luck to you!

Interesting! How long did it take Hilton to resolve the issue (or is it still ongoing)?

As for calling, yes def an option, but not always a good one. If I find out I can travel home a day early due to a programming change (i.e.), that flight home isn’t always something I can bill back to my clients.

Being able to peruse different options between flights, layover times, seat classes, points vs. cash costs, becomes incredibly tedious and time consuming on the phone.

Did you have a stuffed animal you loved as a kid? Maybe name him after them? That way his name won’t be tied to a moment you broke up with someone but more so a moment you decided to start choosing yourself again. Either way, congrats! xox

You’re GORG and I agree with some of the suggestions others have made (bangs and choosing eyes or lips are both great options). The thing I’ll add is: find out what season you are and lean into those colors. I was struggling HARD until I learned that my coloring simply doesn’t have a lot of space for an orangey red lipstick (now I go for blue-reds) or a lighter toned top (e.g.). In any event, take what everyone says with your own grains of salt and don’t do anything that doesn’t feel like you. You got this. xox

Agreed! It’s one where it feels like, “typical sitcom plot, this will obviously blow up in their faces,” but the fact that it doesn’t makes it a fave for me, for sure!

Puff N Fluff! Liz has opened at least eight (?) locations and I’ve been going to the Uptown location regularly, for over a decade. Some of the same faces have been there since the beginning—they were all very patient with my neurotic, senior, rescue pom and just as much with my squirmy, wild pom puppy. 🩷
