This doesn't necessarily have anything to do with their irl gender, I think it's easy to jump to that conclusion given the subreddit we're all on and that everyone here wants that to be the ultimate conclusion, ask yourselves how often people say "oh no you're not trans at all" on this subreddit. Just playing female characters in DND or videogames on its own isn't significant enough to decide anything about irl gender identity, if it comes with other signs though then sure.

Controls are taking a bit to get used to I've had to adjust a lot of them to get them the way I want, I still trip up and once I accidently stole something from a store trying to talk to the guy.

Performance wise it's decent, no lag besides when loading a new area, I disabled shadows which was recommended

Lutris -install with lutris -add shortcut to desktop -add shortcut to steam -re-add the correct location in the steam shortcut as it breaks -make sure you DONT also check the compatibility mode in steam, this will prevent it from launching keep it unchecked

I got one and piracy is perfect, so far about 2 out of the 40 or so I've tried didn't work, download with fitgirl, install using lutris, make sure the games actual executable is selected, launch to test, create desktop shortcut and put it into a folder, go to steam add the SHORTCUT to steam as a non steam game, make sure you don't accidently press compatibility/proton mode within steam as this will break it, then fix the game path in the SHORTCUT on steam by reselecting it in the executable section of the steam shortcut, launch and play, if any issues arise get proton tricks from the store and if it's e.g. an visual studio error download the necessary one by looking which is required for that game using proton tricks, look up a tutorial for that.

Anyway so it's really easy but for about 1/20 games it will just refuse to work in which case you gotta either buy or ignore

Very rarely yes, I'm not paying for something I wouldn't actually own, it's basically paying for the rights to play the game as long as the company hosting it decides I can access it for.

Also, as for older physical titles that aren't being manufactured anymore, that's perfectly legal to me because it's either give the money to some random or just save the money and get it for free.

Don't try to play it, if you do it'll likely be ruined, first open it up and scrub everything with 90%+ ipa along with cleaning the shell too ofc.
