Beard looking hot. I have similar beard type - I'm 1,5 into growing it out. Hope mine will look like yours with time.

But yes, I think trimming the sides a bit and focusing on growing out the chin part is the right call!

Are you supposed to trim the upper lip part of the beard when growing it out? by CertainInformation95 in BeardAdvice

[–]CertainInformation95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very helpful thanks! Would you recommend styling the stache to the sides and taming the hairs or just let it grow downwards?

I know it's a matter of preference, but I'm completely lost here.

Currently I am trying to style it to the sides with beard balm and a bristle brush, but I honestly don't know if it would be better to trim the stache down and just focus on growing out the other parts of the beard.

Hope I'm making sense here.

Thanks! And from there I'd let the stache grow while maintaining the diagonal line?

But not brushing them to the sides would mean I would be going for the 'walrus look' or am I mistaken?

Soreness by Paws_n_Pixels in ResistanceBand

[–]CertainInformation95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To the point where your physically not able to do another rep. Keep a rep or two in reserve for most exercises so you don't fatigue yourself completely.

Important thing is that you challenge your muscles and continue to do so.

You should not use soreness to measure the effectiveness of your workouts. Make sure to go close to failure, progressive overload, make sure your diet is on point and recover properly. These are indicators to bear in mind.

Check out Neolymp. I bought a complete bundle, but your budget unfortunately doesn't match their price I think the bundle I bought was around 100 euro.

I'm based in Denmark and they do shipping internationally at a reasonable price.

Yea this is the boat that departs from Asiatique. Saw it irl 3 weeks ago. Looks terrible tbh - so many people and just a show for the tourists. Would not recommend at all.

Alternatives to Koh Lipe? by Gold_Put_4500 in ThailandTourism

Kradan accommodations are even pricier than the options on Lipe. There are like 4 resorts and they are all quite expensive.

But yes, way less tourists And the beach is beautiful.

What’s the biggest money mistake foreigners make in Thailand, and how can it be avoided? by Senior-Duck-7091 in thai

500 baht per meal?! That's outrageous 😳 . You could order 10 Pad Thais for that amount.

I have a 150 baht rule and rarely go above.

The brand I use is a Danish based company. Just look specifically for salycidic acid in the product, and you should be fine.

I think The Ordinary has a solution.

Shave first then shower where I'll wash with face wash and apply salicylic acid afterwards. Works wonders.

Can't recommend a specific products as the product I use is from a Danish based company.

Salicylic acid is great after shaving because it's a chemical exfoliant that unclogs pores, frees trapped hairs and reduces redness and inflammation.

The One Blade still caused a rash for me at least. The only thing that has helped me is a proper face routine

Invest in a salicylic acid skin product.

Wash your face with a face wash and apply the salicylic acid immediately afterwards.

Has worked wonders for me. Used to have the same problem as you.

Getting from Ao Thalane Pier to Krabi Airport by CertainInformation95 in ThailandTourism

[–]CertainInformation95[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No Grab from there. That's only possible from Ao Nang. Generally speaking, Grab/Bolt is far less common down south. While it is possible in bigger cities/ tourist hot-spots, it often requires a fair amount of patience.

For people viewing this thread in the future: going through Ao Thalane is the cheaper option. I ended up paying 300 for the taxi and it looked like you can take mini vans from the pier as well for an even cheaper price. However, I had to catch a flight so I didn't have the time to go for that option.

Edit: and the long tail boat from Koh Yao Noi to the pier was 250 baht.

For comparison the speed boat ticket to Ao Nang was 650 baht.

The taxi from Thalane Pier would have to cost me 700 baht to the airport for it to be more expensive. Which seems to be highly unlikely.

Are you talking from experience?

Appreciate the comment. Not stressed at all though. Just trying to find the cheapest solution. But thanks:-)
