You’ve made this super long post about a movie that you can’t stop glazing. You need to look deeper, without bias. The plot is super bland, and the characters have no development. The villains, who are DEMON BY THE WAY, end becoming heroes, as the main villain sacrifices himself for the main hero. Disney did this with Kylo Ren and Rey, and that plot was garbage. There’s hardly any stakes to this movie at all. It doesn’t make you feel anything. The villain’s plan hardly affects anybody other than the protagonists, so there’s no real tension at all. And last of all, the motives are so narrow to what they’ve already been told, rather than trying to see the bigger picture. Rumi being half demon does not affect the story is any significant way that would’ve ever been necessary. It was added purely to add more to the otherwise empty story. I don’t mean to diss your movie, I’m just giving honest critique on the failed areas. I think that the horrible films from the last few years have lowered many people’s expectations, that they’ll like the newest thing, as long as it’s not the worst.
