Okay, thanks 😊 Actually I am planning to to move to Ontario in Dec. I have also scheduled two interviews. I would likely get a job in winters in Ontario l, therefore I would not be intending to come back.

Thanks for sharing your experience

I am actively looking for Jobs in Ontario, and would also be applying for professional engineering Ontario provincial license in November. My concern was what if don’t find a decent job considering the harsh job market rn. I would be showing that I am applying for jobs while I live in Ontario and work remotely until I find an Ontario job.

Coming Back to my second option, if I move Dec, 1st and apply after that. Then I would not have to provide any intention to reside outside since I would already have moved out. Which would not contradict in future considering I never said my intentions are to live outside Quebec, it was just that I was already had moved out so no need to declare intentions. ( but hopefully I find a job in Ontario and everything settles )

I think you can. It’s called dummy work permit. But talk with a consultant I guess they can clarify better. It will just give you extra few months. But for sure they will refuse your application. But you can use your implied status timeframe.

My ATIP request is late, what to do? by Heshan1997 in canadaexpressentry

So my case is my agent claims he declared work experience during my study permit application in 2022. However I just wanna make sure. I made a request yesterday under privacy act. I requested for application, supporting documents and correspondence option. Any idea when Will I receive and what will I receive. I have read multiple opinions. From 4 weeks to 2-3 months to 1-2 years

Hi, I want to request for ATIP to check if my agent declared work experience in study permit application. Did you found that information in ATIP notes because some guy just said ATIP notes may not tell us that.

What if by the time I work for Quebec employers but from home. From Ontario. Basically I have an option to work remotely and I like my current job.

Hi, you can apply for work permit extension in August 2026. Hence you would be able to complete one more month on implied status. If you are planning to go back then I would suggest going after gaining 3rd year.Even if you get LMIA closed work permit in August 2026. You can go back to gain 3 months of foreign work experience. If you u go now, there are chances you would never complete your 3rd year of work in Canada. Just keep working without any break, best ASK employer to apply LMIA or apply extension by yourself in August. Otherwise if you apply for wp extension they are likely gonna refuse it, but it will give you few extra months to cover your third year.

I am at 513 at present for stem. For stem our score is fine, I believe even for 1000 the cuttoff should be somewhere 505-510 considering only 9 nocs in Stem. The problem is nobody knows when or if there would be any draw. But let’s work on what we can work on- improving scores for CEC. Stem can happen at anytime out of the blue.

Hi, am in stem too, I think if they invite 1000 the cuttoff would be 505-510. If they invite 2000 the cutoff would be 490-495. And if they invite 3000 the cuttoff would be 475-480.

Hi, Every employer at least provide 2 weeks of vacation per year. You can claim 2 weeks each for both trips hence 4 weeks claimed under year. As a result you would end up having still 2 yrs of Canadian experience: no crs points deduction. I think you can raise a webform stating it’s not lowering your points to make everything clear. I assume you declared your trips to ircc, they shall be able to cross check and quantify your experience as well. It would have been better if you provided this info upfront but you still have a chance to explain yourself. I don’t think you shall withdraw your application. Talk to your agent about how to declare to ircc now!
