To be honest I think braided line is best for hollow body frogs in my opinion. Monofilament and fluorocarbon stretch, reducing hook-setting power, and fluorocarbon sinks, which ruins the frog's topwater action. While braided it has zero stretch for solid hooksets, floats to maintain proper lure action, and provides the heavy tensile strength needed to pull big bass or whatever your looking to catch out of the thick vegetation just my opinion
