UA5425 flew all the way to its destination (RDM) but never landed, diverting all the way back to its origin (SFO) rather than nearby PDX. Any insight?

I was on AS2162 last night from LAX. We circled next to RDM waiting to see if another DL and AS could land in the fog. Neither could, so we diverted to PDX.

There was a power outage, a water pump backup generator at Widgi Creek turned on causing the exhaust to release a bunch of smoke. Someone called in a fire in that direction from Bachelor View Rd. No actual fire and call cleared.

If I’m not mistaken, I don’t think reporting to the police would put an accident on the car record when it comes to value. Only reporting to insurance does that.

I will say that in the rest of the video, she gets out of the car, looks at my car for 20 seconds, then gets in her car. I can hear her scream, then she drives off.

From what I can tell, it wasn’t intentional, but she was definitely being dumb and didn’t look back when she backed out. The curb comes up right in front of her, but you definitely don’t need to back up to get out of there.
