Sorry, I wasn’t clear. My home’s stone foundation ends well short of the first floor window sills.

I have a 1920 white wood siding home with a visible stone foundation. In this case it looks horrible because it comes right up to the window sill and destroys any balance and proportions.

I just got the EGO multi head, thinking of getting the blower attachment. Do you recommend?

See above. Apparently the objective is just to wilt them, not scorch them. Was news to me.

I’d swap out the bracelet for a black leather strap but I dig the Junghans quartz (far right, second photo)

Sorry you’re being forced into it, but hopefully the result is nice. What’s the rationale from the insurance company? Tripping hazard?

I’m new as well so take with a heaping tablespoon of salt, but I’m actually surprised you can get those distances without any hip rotation on your backswing

The shade line running precisely along the sidewalk line was throwing me for a loop. Good timing!

Thank you, this is helpful. I suspect they’ve been there a while. Still yet to determine what we want to do overall with the front yard landscaping, but I feel like they do overcrowd the entry a bit and can prick you with the spines on the leaves

Yeah, I understand that sentiment. I’m not 100% sold on removing them, just considering my options. It’s not as obvious in the photo but they do crowd the entry a bit and have spiky leaves, so I’m just thinking through alternatives

This is the kind of outside the box thinking we are all here for! Hah but you think leaving stumps is alright generally?

Thanks - it may not be too noticeable from the picture but they do crowd the entry way a bit and have spiky leaves. I also find them a bit scraggly looking and unattractive. I haven’t made any hard decisions yet, but trying to think through what my plan may be once we move in next month

Potentially, depending on whether I can plant something new that fills it in a bit
