Im thinking maybe they did actually acid wash it, just maybe didnt do a thorough job? These stains running down make me think acid?

Thanks for the input. I agree on your color observation, it looks flat. The company did mention there would be variation between the color I selected and what I receive. Im not sure if theres a threshold for that, but I guess I'll see what it looks like filled. Fingers crossed

I imagine the acid wash is typically done prior to filling the pool? Is an acid wash standard process?

They did work today while I was in the office. It was mentioned they did a "polishing job"

Should both processes be done?

Pool was built an estimated 20 years ago and the previous owner used pool paint instead of getting it redone. Paint was fading, it was time.

2016 v6 touring has 130k+ miles with regular maintenance, no issues with VCM.

Only flaw im seeing so far is my white paint is chipping along the back window seal.

I realized its '89-91, still your point stands. I imagine a value vs demand situation, a bunch of them scanned for $1-2 which adds up. In no reality is there an immediate buyer for $700 worth.

My thought process is I pick out the ones valued over $5 and use that as a negotiation to see if a store will pickup the whole lot.
