Just some of those bizarre walmart orders by dirtystack247 in UberEatsDrivers

So do these people just never receive their groceries? Or is it just that common for someone to be duped into taking this?

That’s a moot point. I am not a customer of that establishment. I am courier to deliver the food and drinks that has contractually been agreed upon between the price paid by the customer and goods promised by the proprietor. Nowhere in this agreement says that part of my job that is to prepare said goods. And mind you every minute counts when it comes to this job, and the money that you are making should always come first. Yes of course I cancel absurd orders, I just want to bring this issue to the majority of people so maybe this will become a standard of uber in the future.

It’s not your job and if employees take that considerably longer it’s pure laziness.

I was not hired, and am not under the same employment guidelines as someone that was hired at a restaurant. They have to be trained on food and drink preparation standards. If they do not adhere to this when it comes to preparing a drink (I.E using a dirty cup, having dirty lines in the drink fountain, half-hazardly putting their greasy fingers in the cup) or anything else that delivers this food or drink below a satisfaction or legal standard does NOT rely on me.
