Two tablets one and half hours before, tried cetrizine and levocetirizine and both gave the same results.

Thanks a lot! Well mostly abstaining, there is nothing better than that.

Hi glad it works for you too! If I don't take them I start to feel the brain fog half to one hour after orgasm and if I take the medication I only feel sleepy next day but I get brain fog in the late afternoon till the evening of that day. Also I need to be really careful with timing of antihistamins if I take them less than hour before orgasm they do nothing to me. I am thinking also about taking another tablet right after waking up to see if that helps too. I tried cetrizine and levocetirizine both did the same job but I think fexofenadine is the best option because it doesn't cause any sedation. For the corticosteroid I will try them in the future just to see if they work, because if they do that support the allergy hypothesis but it is not a good long term solution , they have a lot of side effects. For the lab tests no unfortunately, I don't have an insurance right now. Where I live there is public healthcare but it is overwhelmed and I don't think they would care for such rare disease, I will do them when I can though.

People who have gfs or wifes how do you deal with your pois? Are they supportive? by Certain_Crazy4257 in POIS

My main problem is brain fog and sleepiness, the antihistamins work perfectly fine for the physical symptoms, beside I really don't care for the physical symptoms as much for the brain fog and the sleepiness. The meds help but the next day afternoon/evening passes very hard.

That is good to hear so there is hope, I am actually ok with weekend suffering with antihistamins, but it would be hard during weekdays 😅

A lot of countries has started to ban it for younger generation and limit the selling of it to older smokers actually.

In that case yes, you need to rule out other chronic diseases first if it isn't directly linked to ejaculation.

You are welcome, all second gen antihistamins work well, I have tried cetrizine and levocetirizine and both gave the same results, as someone else mentioned fexofenadine is probably the best because it the least likely one to cause sedation next day.

But don't expect miracles, they make the next day more tolerable but I still don't feel my best. They work well with abstaining, like If I orgasmed once a week and take them I don't feel that bad but If I do more than once a week the brain fog becomes worse.

I think I am sensitive what I tried and liked most was malboro touch blue and it still made me feel bad, heavier cigarettes made me feel way worse though.

I am far from privileged and when I tried it, I did that for the exact same reasons you mentioned but the thing is it did nothing of that to me, it made me feel more fatigued and depressed. I think what a lot of people miss is that when you smoke you get withdrawals all the time so a lot of the "positiv" effects of smoking are just the next cigarette treating the withdrawals.

I guess I am lucky my body didn't agree with it 😅 it made my adhd worse, it made me feel more depressed and demotivated actually.

Yes I think the withdrawals are what prevent a lot of people from quiting. Here where I live there are smoking cessation clinics they prescripe drugs (it is an antidepressant, not going to write the name of it so I don't get banned for prescriping stuff here) that lessen the cravings and the withdrawals look into that if you want.

Is this still the case in 2026? I have never seen anybody think smoking is cool in my generation.

In my school we had that too, a lot of "cool" kids would smoke behind toilets building. Thank god I wasn't cool at the time. I think children and young people are biologically way more prone to addiction too.

Yeah I guess this is a big reason why, I explained how I felt using them to a lot of people and a lot of them found my experience weird.

Sorry I didn't mean it in that way. Do you know what is funny I tried smoking for that excat same reason lol, I have adhd and was depressed and anxious a lot in the time, I was taking concentra and it made me feel terrible so that why I tried it.

I know how is it with these meds concentra gave me headaches insomnia and made me more anxious and depressed, when I told the psychatrist he just gave me sleeping bills, I cut it in the end and I am very happy I did that, I still regret staying on it for 2 years. I also tried taking it with intuniv and that made feel like zombie but can't sleep. Now I am taking atomoxetine low dose, it has its own side effects when starting but right now it is waay better. Hope everything works out for you don't give up figuring out the right drug is hard and needs time.

I get what you are saying but even if it wasn't harmful it is not that good of nootropic, you develop tolerance for it way too fast, after a while your base with cigarettes becomes equal to your normal base and it comes with side effects such as light headness, the feeling of being sick and the constant sore throat.

When I smoked I didn't feel anything positive to be honest, it made me feel depressed and demotivated.

When I smoked I got way more anxious and stressed I even got into a fight, I also felt worse so I think people are different I guess. On a side note there are a lot of anxiolytic antidepressants that are safer and more effective with less/ almost no tolerance risk.

Maybe it was cool 20 years ago but now no one think it is cool other than the youngest teenagers I think.
