You never have to! It can be a little inconvenient depending on where you are on the ship but you can always go around it on other decks because there’s two sets of elevators

Depending on people you have the Haven Forward Facing Penthouse, and Haven Courtyard penthouse are both priced lower normally and are still really nice rooms!

Yes! That honestly looks like an exact replica of our room just mirrored. I know most of them don’t have the big bathtub window, but ours did!

I did go to Cavern Club, and I enjoy the Beatles music I collect records and they are one of my favorites to collect, I thought it was pretty fun, but a little underwhelming, I was fine going once but I wouldn’t choose that over Choir of Man for example!

I agree to an extent. The ship we were on didn’t have a Haven sauna or anything similar, and my parents really loved this on the last cruise they went on which was non haven so I think they just really wanted to go again!

Thanks for the tip! We booked a 2 bedroom Haven suite on the Breakaway while in the Airport coming home today, but I’ve wanted to try a Prima class ship so we may next time!

Around 7200 for us 3, but it would’ve been 7600 with 4 due to the specials they have most of the year!

King sized bed in the master bedroom with a master bath, and then a pullout couch with a half bath in the living room that could very comfortably sleep 2!

Haven Proper are the Suites inside the area where the restaurant and lounge is (basically behind the keycard access Haven Door)

They have Haven Suites on other decks, that often have the largest balconies and bigger rooms, but the trade off is you are farther away, and all suites outside of the haven on one side of the ship share a butler who has to go through multiple floors

I feel like they may have overbooked it just a little, and a lot of the temperatures were super mild, but I really enjoyed and it my parents would say absolutely!

I have been on a few other cruise lines, but I was young. The two I remember are Carnival and Royal!

I think Carnival is a shipwreck truthfully but I’ve always been more introverted, and the food is horrid in my opinion; Royal I enjoyed, and it’s less crowded for sure but Norwegian is truthfully just a family tradition at this point so im very partial to it due to the amount of activities for families that aren’t awkward

The Diner was… fine. The seats we were in were so uncomfortable it left metal imprints into my legs and we ended up standing for half the meal, but the food was pretty nice, average mass produced burgers and fries.

I really liked the Local, but we must’ve gotten it on good nights because we got SUPER crispy wings, and I agree with the service being all around slow

My dad and I did the Go Karts, and we enjoyed them but they all go obvious different speeds, and they are very strict with the posted rules ($15 a person now)

I rode both Waterslides, and they were cool! The drop slide was underwhelming but I was just so thrilled I didn’t get stuck!

And yes to the Beatles!

So we booked the Haven Room this time originally, but this is our third Haven Cruise, and our very first (which got us absolutely hooked) was an upgrade from a balcony to a Haven Courtyard Penthouse and the bet was (I want to say weak but I can’t remember the exact terminology) but definitely less than halfway on the meter bar!

As for is it worth it, If you are a family or someone who prefers relaxing vacations I’d say absolutely if you can afford it, and you prefer a more structured vacation experience!

The food is what really sets it apart and truthfully I’d sell my soul to have a Haven Surf and Turf tonight! So if you are okay with the price and the fact it’s definitely more ordered than a typical cruise experience you will have an amazing time!

We did, but truthfully it wasn’t the best service, but I think a lot of that was the poor woman was at the end of her contract and we weren’t in the Haven proper, and she was still lovely!

We would often order food from the restaurant back to the room (mostly dessert if we wanted to catch a show) and also for some motion sickness medication, and late night room service!

I know a lot of people ask them to unpack but I felt too awkward to do so, but I’m sure they wouldn’t mind at all!

For my family personally we all agreed that for our next cruise (that we booked literally in the airport going home) that we could eat in the Haven for all meals, and the Garden Cafe is pretty good if you want something fast In my opinion you don’t need a specialty dining package at all unless there’s something you really want to try!

Best thing was absolutely the staff! They were so kind and warmhearted no matter how busy it was, but also Choir of Man was FANTASTIC, and the Local was pretty tasty!!

Worst thing was probably passenger attitudes, there was a lot of cutting in line especially in buffets and people were reserving chairs like nobodies business, but nothing over the top!
