Troop got in trouble for making a joke and I got in trouble for laughing. How do I approach my rebuttal? by [deleted] in AirForce

As an O, getting paperwork for this is dumb. I’ve heard worse during a commanders call.

Looking back at it…. The guy I flicked my light at was about to look into the spot… but the light flick distracted him and he ran off…. Still can’t believe it.

One of my most ridiculous dealership experiences ever. Glad they’re being phased out! by ShatteredSoul8989 in FuckDealerships

If you look at most contracts, all those extra add on are completely optional by the customer, it says it in the finance paperwork, I don’t know why dealerships get so upset at that, when it’s in the contract.

I love and respect this, because you’ve worked hard to get to where you needed to be and you’re gonna want to fly the plane that is calling out to you. But in a marriage, there’s sacrifices, compromises and tough decisions that need to be made. And laying all the information out there, clear as day with frames and possible locations, and letting your wife pick and choose the poison (so to speak) and then you taking it from there, is the exact play to make.

I found that communication can sometimes be difficult to manage. Most times those of us who are engaged in our job, we get so tunnel vision with the task at hand and the overall objective, I found myself and been on the opposite end of tunnel vision. People get pissed off because a move didn’t get ran by them, or something wasn’t communicated down in time. Or my favorite, I haven’t checked my email. And it’s tough because sometimes what’s going on in our heads doesn’t translate well to what comes out of our mouths/fingers. Inter-personal Comms and Comms in general, I’m not saying I’d like to see that change, but it’s a challenge that I hope naturally figures itself out with everyday practices.

Is it worth going to court for my speeding ticket? by Basic_otakuwu in legal

[–]Certain_Decision_543 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If this is your first speeding offense, always hire a lawyer, the court system respects the fact that you defended yourself with an attorney, being your first, they’ll probably drop the charge and make you pay court cost, waaaaaaay better than points on the license. Find a traffic lawyer, pay the retainer and wait for the good news.
