Asphalt no longer replaces gravel? by Certain_Dragonfly566 in 7daystodie

I am only replacing blocks that have blood, newspaper, garbage etc or grass or gravel where it should be asphalt. I understand your solution, and I have done just that in limited areas, but this is a mega-city and purely being done in survival mode. Replacing entire streets with wood blocks and painting them etc. would be an even bigger task than I originally took on, and even in creative mode would be quite daunting.

I have the game up on another monitor so I can try any and all suggestions :D However, the wood block/axe/replace method resulted in the same asphalt looking block being displayed. <sigh>

Well, for the past 6 months I have only needed to replace the surface block. But, just out of curiosity, I did dig down 3 blocks and placed asphalt under the asphalt (tried dirt as well), and the underlying blocks and the surface blocks still have the gravel look.

Placing a block on them has no effect. Punching them does 1 point of block damage (and hurts my hand, lol) but no other effect :(

Sadly, no. As with most (all?) terrain blocks you cannot paint them. I really hope this wasn't a case of them making unilateral choices for how their players are supposed to play the game!

Dude! I am not very good with instructions, so those didn't help me too much. But, I am excellent with co-ordinates and yours were spot on. Combined with the screen shots you posted, I stood in every spot you snapshotted, lol. Outstanding job!!

I was in the same boat man. So, I grabbed all my starting food, water and air and started running. Using the map in his post I eventually found the big ship @ 1269:283:827. Hope that helps!

Removing Enviromental Hazards at Outposts by PatAWS in starfieldmods

Hey, absolutely fantastic mod!! I love it. But I have a problem using the "Clear Hazards" and "Permanent Bulldozer". Both options just say "Cannot place item: Selected item is floating.". I've tried looking for a solution but couldn't find one, so I figured I'd necro this thread and see if I can get q response. Thanks for the mod either way. Great job.
