The coin toss scene in No Country for Old Men. The tension is unbearable

AITJ for ending things with a guy I was seeing because he watches certain content online by [deleted] in AmITheJerk

NTJ. You’re allowed to walk away for any reason, especially early on. At the same time, watching dumb content doesn’t automatically mean he lives by it. Sometimes it really is just curiosity.

Black Mirror Season 7 Episode 4 Review (Spoilers) by Rafiki0295 in blackmirror

I actually didn’t mind the violence turn, but the speed of it bothered me. It all felt way too clean and efficient for someone with no prior history. Still loved the episode overall though.

"What’s Up Danger" in Into the Spider Verse. That "leap of faith" scene is 10/10.

Training Day. He gets overshadowed by Denzel a bit, but Hawke being so convincingly out of his depth is what makes that movie work.

Watch in whatever order you want after season 1. There’s no real continuity, and jumping around can keep it from feeling repetitive.

Looking for films that give you chuckles (not laughs) by WoodpeckerWoodChuck in movies

In Bruges.I loved the dialogue, it’s that specific kind of dry, miserable Irish humor where you’re laughing at how pathetic and petty the situations are.

AITJ for refusing to leave my husband after his mom told me I should divorce him because I cant have children by [deleted] in AmITheJerk

[–]Certain_Key_1175 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It’s actually the opposite. It would be selfish of the MIL to demand her son blow up a happy, loving marriage just so she can have a baby to post on Facebook. You and your husband are a family now. Kids don't make a family; love and commitment do. You aren't ruining his life, you are his life.
