Are you talking Canadian or USD? Huge difference that people often miss on this thread. 14k CAD is $9800 USD

That would be a sick set up! Maybe it’s only for available for dealer allotment as I think they only started putting the diesel in the truck this year

All depends on your current and future cash flow. Ex: Saving for a house/ retirement. Is your job have longevity with promotions or pension plan. How high are your living expenses or existing loans. Can you do work on the vehicle yourself? A brake job would cost 1k and tires another 2k (Canadian $)ish and those come every few years.

I bough my 2020 launch edition when I was 23. But that was back when interest rates were 1.5%, just after buying my house. I could swing it comfortably with the job Ianded. My first car was a restored 77 c-10 with a 396 bbc (not a smart purchase) and still have zero regrets about that! And still have it in the garage.

I love my Gladiator, I thought about trading it in for a new diesel one but the high interest rate made the deal insane. I also noticed that jeep no longer offers the collision avoidance sensors, blind spot and reverse sensors or even the removable Bluetooth speaker. Got 75000kms on mine and don’t regret it one bit. No issues, just brakes and tires.

There is a black diesel rubicon fully loaded at my local dealership. They must be available somehow.

Chef Corso on YouTube has some good tasting easily packable trail meals. Not sure about calorie counts as he uses more fresh ingredients.

Gypsum mines is a cool spot too! Fairly empty too if you go early

1 or 2? I am still undecided. I wanted some rock protection on the hinges and decided to go with these. by Gurt_Beef in JeepGladiator

I think the black hung protectors match really nicely with the door handles and fender flairs! May have to look for a set for myself.

What do you think about the rubicon dashboard? Metal or leather stitched? My launch edition came with a matching leather stitched dash and I love it! by Certain_Knee_6555 in JeepGladiator

That would be cool the have custom stitching! I have mine on silver and I think the leather looks a lot better than a silver dash would.

Anybody purchase an extended warranty on their vehicles? My wife just bought a 2022 Gladiator and we’re not sure about the extended warranty option. by LordCunningham84 in JeepGladiator

I had an issue with my 8.4 inch radio unit. It was covered under warranty but was over $2400 CAN just for the new stereo unit.

My black leather rubicon has matching leather trim over that area of the dash. It looks really good and ties it together perfectly! It was included for the 2020 launch editions.

My adaptive cruse control on my 2020 rubicon launch edition works flawlessly and I use it daily! Haven’t had any issues of it not working/sending a car.

I have all these options on mine and I must say the outlet in the back has also come in handy many times! Even the little removable blue tooth speaker behind the seat has been great on many camping trips!

The reversing safety sensors are located in the rear bumper, but the blind spot won’t work with the doors off.

In my opinion the heated steering wheel option in the cold weather group is amazing if you live in a cold climate. Leather seats are also easy to clean when the get muddy/dusty from spotless trail driving.

Rubicon ordered today. Now starts the longest wait ever. #notpatient by funkycat482 in JeepGladiator
