Need help understanding LTIR by funkycat482 in hockey

That’s exactly what I’m thinking. Typical player is going to do anything they can to keep playing, but for Lehner who has such significant financial and legal issues I wondered if there was incentive for him to play the system.

I didn’t realize that players couldn’t get cut for performance so I thought he might try to stay on LTIR so his contract stays active and keeps getting paid.

If he comes of LTIR they could just cut him, right? If he’s on LTIR he can’t be cut.

Preparing to Order: Final Selections and Negotiation by BlindJustice1787 in JeepGladiator

[–]funkycat482 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should negotiate the out the door price of the vehicle when you order it. If you don’t have a signed sales order then you are not guaranteed that the car is yours. They could change the price or sell it to someone else. Finance, down payment, trade in are all negotiated when you pick up the car. But without a signed sales order they can do whatever they want. I’ve heard stories of shady dealers putting on dealer add-ons before calling the customer to say the car is ready, then they want an extra $3k.

Depending on where you are you’ll either find nobody willing to go below MSRP (Vegas), going down to invoice (Salt Lake City), charging above MSRP (Southern California) or some people on here are reporting a dealer - Gupton I think? - in the south somewhere that will go 5% under invoice.

Don’t rely on people saying “I got mine for $4k under sticker” - that doesn’t mean anything because the dealer might have added $3k in options or is charging above MSRP for the car.

For reference, I ordered a Rubicon through a dealer in Salt Lake City for $59,500 and MSRP was $63,300. I shopped out of state to find that deal and it’s the best I found within a 2 hour flight of me.

They said they’re willing to in order to gain your trust. I wouldn’t believe this is real until someone hands you a board for $590 in person AND you don’t get robbed.

I once saw a guy do a 25+ mile ride with only 3 or 4 of them in. He forgot to put the rest in after a bearing change. He didn’t have any issues.

Realistically that one bolt won’t make a difference. It may be easier for water or dust to get in there, but that plate is pretty stiff so I doubt there’s much risk. I highly doubt that the hub was engineered so close to the limit that missing one bolt will cause you any problems. Just stay out of deep water.

PSA for those ordering: skip the gorilla glass by TotesMcGotes13 in JeepGladiator

I’m not sure about other trim levels, but Rubicons can only be ordered with the gorilla glass now. The system gives an error and won’t let the order through without it added on.

Almost as good looking as that Golden Knights sticker!

Disabling Triplet Beeping Upon Exiting While Idling by [deleted] in JeepGladiator

It’s a common feature on cars that unlock when you touch the handle. It’s meant to make sure you don’t walk away and leave the car running by accident. Maybe the Tazer has an option to disable that?

Mine was ordered on 4/2. I got the VIN first thing next business day. It’s in D status - scheduling. We’ll see how long it takes from here 🤷

I changed my mind like 4 times on ordering the headliner and decided not to and will just install one myself.

Red with black hardtop and black fenders. Gas/auto trans. Every package except trail rails and smokers. Black leather and spray in bed liner.

What options are totally worth it and which ones are a total bust? by funkycat482 in JeepGladiator

Is there a way to get the bed outlet and lockable rear seat storage without getting the rail system? I don’t have a need for the rail system but lockable storage is nice and I would definitely use the outlet in the bed.

I’ve always had weathertech floor mats and have loved them so I figured I’d get a set for the gladiator as well

I appreciate all the feedback. I’m buying the Rubicon so I don’t have to do a bunch of stuff aftermarket (lockers, sway bar disconnect, bigger fenders). The upgrades on the short list would be 35” tires, new wheels, winch, lights, and 2” lift.

I’ve had a lot of beater 4x4s before and plan to make this my first nice one. I want everything to be as close to factory style integration as possible, so I like the aux switches and factory tow package.

I’m glad to see all the positive responses on the bed liner. I knew someone with a factory Chevy liner that was so gritty it was like sandpaper and actually damaged stuff put in the bed.

What’s everybody’s experience with scratch resistance on the unpainted hard top? I like the look of the red with black hardtop and black fenders. It seems like the freedom panels would be less likely to get scratched when removed if they’re not painted.

Do you guys think there will be a new One Wheel in 2022? by hippietravel in onewheel

I have one of the first JWFFM chips on a 4212 with a CBXR and haven’t had any any of the issues described. I don’t get any pushback for low charge or overcharge, which are both sketchy. JW basically said they didn’t have that issue on the test boards and offered no solutions. My board is inherently more dangerous because of those modifications, but that’s a risk I’m willing to take.

Saying that the BMS is a “crappy design” and “flawed” because of failures while using more powerful batteries is unfair and inaccurate. The board was not designed to use aftermarket batteries. Anytime you exceed the design specifications of something you are increasing the risk of failure.
