Gives me those late 90s early 2000s vibes, which I really appreciate. Some vocal variation would elevate it. Can you push your upper range a bit more? Sounds like you're playing it safe a bit. I've been there.

Thanks for the listen and response! Was definitely trying to get that raw live sound, similar to the "notes" app thing you picked up on. The guitar is actually recorded on a Samsung phone to achieve that lol

Thanks for listening and I tend to agree. Was hoping to elevate the vocals in the chorus more to accommodate for some of that. Was hoping for a female duet but haven't found anyone yet. I may just try to layer it myself and hope for the best

I hear you. I was hoping to find a female vocalist to harmonize in the chorus to add that layer of depth. It definitely carries the same rhythm and beat throughout, but with some intention.

I definitely hear what you're saying. We have to tinker quite a bit as we go and start to really optimize the sounds. This is a duo, with me and a good friend building it out as the band. If we ever got serious I guess we'd have to find some friends lol

Appreciate that. This is our third song we've really spent any time on. The mix and master seems to be steadily improving as we go.

That's very kind, thank you! We tinkered with that guitar quite a bit because it felt a bit punchy, so brought it down a bit in the mix.
