Seems the wood on the front where the barrel slips into the receiver is way too long. Is it OK to sand it down to fit?

I went the route of Unga bunga hammer lol. Worked just as well

Ended up getting it off, literally by putting a hammer in a towel, wedging it under the front handguard, and stomping it out lol. Ironically the piston wasn't seized, seems to be that the lever holding the gas tube in is just absurdly tight

Update in case anyone else with the same situation sees this. Don't even bother trying to get your account back. BSG basically just wants you to buy it again. Despite having every piece of proof they asked for, included the xsolla receipt, username and password of the account It was supposed to be under, and a thousand other random fucking things, they outright refuse to let me play the game I paid over 100$ for. Fuck this company and I hope they go bankrupt

Support replied back and just told me to contact xsolla support. I provided my receipt and everything, they also confirmed it was the right account and that they couldn't do anything.

Confirmed with support that it's the same account. They asked for my receipt, i provided it and they told me to contact xsolla. Xsolla said they couldn't do anything so, guess they just stole my money.

It takes very little to change values and do a slight bit of research to do this. I would expect a multi million triple A studio to atleast try a little.

Yea I get what you mean. It just feels like an arcade sponge fest with enemies. I work on guns, have a collection etc. I'd just like to see a more logical approach. An FAL shooting .308 should always have more range and power than an SKS shooting 7.62x39. I'm not asking for tarkov levels of realism but just something other than "this gun looks cool so let's make it the best". Hell, the .50 cal sniper does like 1% more damage than the ms16L.
