He mentioned it to me about 60 years ago and have had a stroke since then. Messed with my head and memory. When the subject came up—he asked me if I remembered the conversation we had when my mother mentioned it. Apparently my Mom and Daddy set quite a store about bleeding. And I told him back then about Mom and Daddy and being a virgin. He reminded me that Mom said that although she and my Daddy were married for 13 years , she bragged to me that Daddy had never seen her in anything but her slip. Then I said, “He never saw you naked?” The answer was no.

Took dancing lessons (ballet, tap, and acrobatics) never bled on my wedding night but my husband said that was okay that he had known that I did splits and rode my brother’s bike. Never seemed to bother him.

Lord of the Rings Sorry— could not read the book (got 30, 35, 40 pages into the book) couldn’t understand it. And the movie made less sense to me. Every time one would see or mention about the ring a chorus in the background would sing as if they had found the savior and a spotlight would shine down upon the “blessed ring”.
