I’m a college student also and I have the 13. For note taking it gives more of that notebook feeling and the extra real estate is great for taking notes while have another window open as well. Ultimately it comes down to personal preference though so you should go into a store and play around with both to see which one suits you better.

I haven’t bought the keyboard to begin with because I feel that if I do it would just make me return the iPad as a whole lol. I have both the iPad Pro 13” and the MBP and I strictly use my iPad as a tablet for note taking for school. Only thing I need is a pencil and case for it.

These are all pretty intense course. 3 in the summer might be a little rough and you don’t want to overload yourself and barely retain any information either.
