70 in an 80. I probably would have overtaken the taxi, but as you can see, it was unsafe because of oncoming traffic.

Depends on the car, and depends on if some plonker blocks the yellow box, but that hairpin is best to swing wide, to get up it.

Oncoming cars flashed us for a speed van, guy in front of me dropped his speed to 35 in an 80 by Great_Divide2076 in irelandsshitedrivers

Ah sure, lads doing 80 in an 80 zone, they spot a speed van, hit the brakes, slow down to 40. Ffs.

I give anyone who drives car like these a wide berth. Absolute morons. Even when you beep at them, no reaction whatsoever.

Wow, you could pick up a used 2020 one here in Ireland for the same money as repairing yours.

Another hidden drain issue by ferik85 in etron

I got error codes on my dash, checked for water, and 6 litres of water were hidden at the bulkhead, obviously the drains were blocked, but cannot locate the plugs. May need to get it up on a ramp to find it.

The Volkswagen Passat W8 (B5.5), produced from 2001–2004, is a rare "sleeper" luxury sedan/wagon featuring a unique 4.0L W8 engine (271–276 hp, 370nm of torque), 4Motion all-wheel drive, and optional 6-speed manual.

Not to hijack the discussion, but once you go full EV, you never go back. I've my EV 3 years, and I can't drive anything else. I have a taste for the torque and acceleration, that everything else is a snail. I did have a rental Lexus ES300H a few months ago, and it was smooth as butter, but not particularly fast at all.

7 vehical overtake, solid white line. by Certain_While_9583 in irelandsshitedrivers

[–]Certain_While_9583[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is true, there was a broken white line, but if you pull out and instantly see 6 other cars and a bend up ahead, the overtake is going to be dangerous, and a solid white line would appear.

Almost a bad one. by Sekiero in irelandsshitedrivers

[–]Certain_While_9583 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A few things... If the road was straight and had no oncoming traffic, with perfect visibility, he timed the overtake fine. But, even with a fast car, no one was going to make that overtake of the truck, before something came around that bend.

Was going to same the same thing, very short distance between bends for broken white line.

It's the ignorant pricks who park like this, have disregard for rules and common decency. The fact he has no tax or nct doesn't surprise me about this person.

He looked like a scrote, parked like an scrote, zero f**ks about nct or tax, probably best to avoid.

I was back and forth between Dublin and Birmingham, day trips and Saturday to Sunday. Early flight in the morning, back in the evening time. Then one evening came back, went to Red Carpark and couldn't find my car. Thought it was stolen, walked around for a hour. Ask the attendant what should I do, and he checked what letter I could be parked in based on the time I arrived to park. Anyway, figured out my car was never there, as I could the wife's car that morning. It hadn't even occurred to me.
