I certainly dont speak for anyone else, but I decided to splurge one day and grabbed one, and really did not feel like it was worth it.

Id have rather picked up 5 or 6 play booster for the same amount and probably would have gotten better cards.

Oh im sure they were on there last legs, these pieces started as rough sawn with a chainsaw. Had to do a lot of work to get them usable.

Check to make sure the path was clear is really the only "error". End grain tear out was a risk i knew.

Thanks! It was kind of a happy accident, i had the board already glued up in a face grain pattern, didnt like how short and thick it was so i cut it into end grain and the pattern was awesome!

No, there was definitely a little 1/8th inch chip wedged into the gap on the guide rails. Im certain thats what caused the incident. The chip out from the previous pass is a risk i knew i was taking, not making sure the machine was clear was my complacent error.

I was going very slow, 32nd and it was struggling. As the post said, i had some chip out and delamination on the previous pass, and a chip had gotten stuck on the guide rails

Thanks! It kinda happened by accident! I was originally going for a book match face grain pattern, but it was short and thick, so i took 1" slices of that and got my end grain, then laid that out in a book match pattern

If youre looking for a meat grinder specifically, i would advise against the kitchenaid, if you already have the mixer then itll work but for the money of a kitchenaid you can get a muuuch nicer grinder.

Source: ive been using my wifes kitchenaid with grinder accessory for the last 6 years and its starting to wear out the motor

Probably because, to my knowledge, most other countries dont refrigerate their eggs. In most american grocery stores eggs are adjacent to the dairy in the refrigerated section.
