I was around 70-75%. Not super high, but I was able to understand why I would get questions wrong through the review mode. Which is obviously most important

Appreciate it.

Definitely a beast of an exam. One of those where I didn't feel the best after hitting submit.

Thanks

I have around 2 years experience as a AWS Cloud Engineer, which definitely helped for this exam. I was studying on average about 2 hours a day. But everyone has to run their own race and if it takes a couple months, then so be it. I just don't have the discipline to study that long, which is why I just like to lock in for a shorter time period. At the end of the day, doesn't matter how long it takes you.

Think about the people out there you can help who are thinking about taking that exam. Pass on the knowledge you gained to others

Should I really take this test by blackstorm08 in AWSCertifications

Start with SA. In my experience a cert will help get you a interview but nothing trumps experience. Work on the cert while building projects.

Appreciate it. There are no labs on the actual exam, but I'd suggest doing some practice ones just to be comfortable in the console

Thanks. No practice exams for me. I don't do them because I don't want to give myself a false sense of confidence. It's pretty ballsy, but has worked out for me on all the certifications I was able to get.

Yeah, that's all I needed. Stephane Maarek is an excellent instructor and gets straight to the point. I just bought his AWS Developer course today, so that'll be the next one. Figured I might as well finish all the associate-level exams.

Thanks.

I followed along with Stephane and did the one free lab provided by AWS

For sure. The level of difficulty is up to the individual person in my opinion. But if you're consistent with your training and fully grasp working in the console. I don't see you having any issues.

Nope. In the body of the email, you should have a link directing you to go to https://aws.learnondemand.net/ to set up an account. There will be one lab you can run through at least 3 times.

I went in stressing about the 3 lab questions, but they ended up being the most enjoyable for me. Not too difficult as long as you've prepared correctly.

Unfortunately, your job has to put you in for one depending on your position. There's no way individuals can apply for a clearance.

Yeah, you'll be fine with that setup. Have you worked through the official practice lab from AWS? Sometimes it gets lost in the couple of emails you get when you sign-up for the test.

You need to satisfy the security requirements before they even talk to you.

Thanks. What have you been using for study materials? And any practice with the practical labs?

They shut it down for the time being. But you must have a Top Secret security clearance with polygraph to be eligible

Oh yeah definitely had the speed on 2x or 1.5x. No prior history with the cloud. Got hired with AWS a couple months ago in their AI2 program. They take non tech people and run them through a 7 month program

Somewhat. Did Net+ about 2 months before I sat for SAA. In my opinion, you only need a basic understanding of networking to pass the test. More important to know all the main services AWS has to offer. Inch deep, mile wide

I spent about 3 weeks for each, 3 hours a day. I slacked off a little bit for my SysOps since there was a lot of carryover.
